We dewormed and vaccinated the kindle today.

Squeee! Those little faces!
I cannot believe someone has not snatched up that orange cutie… thank goodness you are so far away!
That is Han. He’s a little reserved, very playful, and loves attention.
Between his face and his paws he is irresistible.
Me too. Good thing I’m in Vermont.
Here are pictures of the ones still available. Six boys and two girls.
Han and Luke, the orange brothers with extra toes.
Miggy and Arthur, the field brown and classic tabbies without white.
Leopold and Caleb, the brown tabby tuxedo boys.
The girls, Alice the tortie and Beatrice the brown tabby tuxedo.
Adorable! So cuuuuute!
You can’t have him—he’s mine!
And a video of some of the available kittens. I have no idea what happened with Arthur. He was climbing my leg and fell off. It’s amazing how much these little guys love attention. We try to get them out individually, or in small groups. Sadly, they are too big now to leave out of their crates unsupervised. They look a little damp because I had just finished wiping them down with a damp cloth to bath them.
We’re staying with three meals per day. I was afraid they were overeating the wet food with only two meals. They have dry food available the time.
You could try to do the exchange at a secure location, like meeting the prospective kitten-receiver at the State Line Coffee & Donut Bar where the troopers hang out.
When I first read your post, I read it as “Meanwhile, cats with illegal guns and meth go whipping on by …”
I drove across a state line with two – TWO! – cats concealed in the back seat of the pickup truck.
We weren’t stopped, let alone friskied.
Arthur and Han have homes!
Arthur left today, so 13 kittens left in the kindle. Five more leaving tomorrow. Han leaves next Friday. I was worried about the timing because of the 4th, but he’ll be an inside cat in the city, so he should do fine.
Still in need of homes are:
Luke
Alice
Beatrice
Caleb
Miggy
Leopold
Zoe
We thought Zoe had a home, but they never called back.
I made videos today of the whole kindle playing all together for the last time.
Luke does not show well when people come by to visit. He’s hyper and climbs the fence constantly. Little twerp. He’s not helping himself get a home.
Arthur snuggled and purred in the new owner’s beard, so earned himself a good home. It was close between him and Leopold. Han was just being his sweet, mellow self and earned himself a good home with another, slightly older, kitten (also on the mellow side). Sounds like a good match. Indoor kitty homes! Quite an upgrade from feral barn cats. Their mothers will be so proud.
Did you tell their adopters that we require updated photos on a regular basis?
BTW, the kittens are adorable but how are the momma kitties doing?
Mama cats are still locked up and very bored. Not too much longer now. 7/7 is their spay date.
Yes, this. Or else someone else is going to have to come up with kittens soon, because @candyappy is going to be saying goodbye to theirs before long!
