If only they could understand! You saved her a miserable life with many kittens!
Love this update!
I’m glad she’s back! I hoped she would become more tame and sweet. She’s so pretty.
All FOUR barn cats slept in the workshop last night. When I let them out, I got some pictures of them cavorting around.
Our house cats did not appreciate the barn cats’ presence outside on a cool summer morning. I’m sure there was jealousy. I believe the opposite feelings will happen this winter….
You are developing the rare and exotic “half-cat”. Many varieties exist. Yours sound like “half indoor-half outdoor” cats. Mine is of the “half mine-half landlords” variety. He may be crossed with a “half barncat-half house”. Half-cats are very special!
Thank you for sharing these great pictures.
I love Polly’s polypaws!
Your new property is very beautiful. I’m so glad you came into these kitties lives - clearly they are much better for you in it. They look so happy. I love how you can tell it’s Polly walking along.
Leopold has a home!
Beatrice gets a visit tomorrow from a family that is very interested.
The rescue wants them fixed first. Leopold passed the two pound mark. Beatrice may need to wait a few more days. They are scheduling Leopold as his adopter has been approved.
Poor Miggy is last. He’s become a cuddle bug in the past week. I’ll get an updated picture of him tomorrow. I knew he would be last. Plain brown dotted boy with no white. He’s a good boy, though. He deserves a good home.
I hope Miggy gets a great home! You did a great job finding homes for them!
Leopold and Beatrice are spoken for! They stay here until spayed and neutered.
Miggy will find a Plain Brown lover
I was one myself when I got my very first cat at 20yo.
I melted for the slender 1yo who stretched a paw through the bars to touch me.
Had his Plain Tabby self 16 more years.
What a Wild Ride you’ve had!
Miggy reminds me a lot of Satin. He was the plain tabby wrapper among all the showier blacks in a dumped litter, but he has grown into quite a character, and I thoroughly enjoy having him around the farm. Always bright and amiable with people and swift and lethal with mice. Nice barn cat combination. Miggy will find his person.
I love these plain brown tabby pictures! I think Miggy is adorable. If we didn’t already have four, I’d consider keeping him. He even has little tufts on his ears.
One more. He’s growing so fast. 11 weeks old now. Will someone still want him when he’s even bigger?
He is so cute! How can no one want that much cuteness!
And here is my Pesky cat. Tabby’s are the best…
SO and I have been discussing getting a kitten…I really wish you were so far away, I would really take him!
@Displaced_Yankee, there was a plain brown tiger kitty dumped on our property once. We got her spayed and found her a home. Her name was Pesky too.
Your Pesky is adorable!!!
Oh thank you!
He maintains this odd place in our lives where he is both the best and worst cat ever.
Best: snuggly, independent, a hunter, has his own agenda
Worst: “too” snuggly, “too” independent, “too much” a hunter, “has too much of” his own agenda
He is getting old though. He was here when I moved in 10.5 years ago and seemed to be an adult cat. He is slowing down and having a harder time keeping his weight on.
