Do you think the judge may be waiting until after the mediation proceeding next week? See how cooperative everybody is first, then come down on whoever isn’t playing nice with others. And if by some miracle the suit is dropped or settled, he might not need to do anything.

I am curious how soon MB’s team will know if they can restrict the next Krol hearing to outsiders.
The judge’s should understand that for the purpose if defending their client in the criminal trial that the attorneys may need to give details of mental health and child abuse. Filming was allowed for the trial but it doesn’t mean that every proceeding should be open to the public.

Come on @Ambitious_Kate, please define your use of the term “creepy crawlies.” If I recall, it was a children’s game in the 1960s so I’m curious as to the relevance.

If you’re bored, I recommend watching the opening statement by both lawyers in the Gwyneth Pawltrow (I may have spelled that wrong) civil suit that is currently underway. You’ll need a lot of wine and popcorn. It is astonishingly bad. I watched a couple different lawyers’ commentary on it and they all agreed those were the worst opening statements they had ever seen or heard.

I find it amusing that it is thought that $250 worth of donations over two days is something to scoff at.
I would think that if they find it that upsetting that there has not been a donation since yesterday that they could give a donation.

I watched the plaintiff’s attorney’s opening for a few minutes and it was so awful I turned it off. Are you telling me the defense was just as bad? That poor jury.

I find it amusing that, despite all the wailing several threads back that people are donating to MB’s GFM, no one took my suggestion to create a GFM for LK.
It would have been even more amusing to compare how much the two funds accrued, and how many people donated to them. I’m guessing LK might attract at best a dozen or so donors.
I also think it may be possible that some folks are stepping up financially behind the scenes - i.e., not using the GFM. (And that comment will no doubt result in some pearl clutching by certain folks!)
