Well, that was a complete failure of my use of my native language to communicate. Iām so sorry. I was trying to say that, unlike some other users, I have NOT had any problem with being logged out āagainst my willā so-to-speak.
Just got logged out again when I checked a link in a post.
I think it has to do with some links, that may just get you kicked out?
No problem logging in again.
Seems to have a little window that opens to do that for you if you click on it.
No, I think that one was all me. It may be time for Mod 1 to push back from the keyboard.
@Bluey Do you have āremember meā checked?
Yes, remember me checked, then click on the offered tab superimposed on that little window and it self logged me back in?
This just started yesterday, did it once this morning and again just now, so seems new and random?
Just a little bitty problem, not worth looking at it, unless it is part of a bigger one.
The developers did say that there would be some users logged out periodically today, so letās give it a little time, since theyāre definitely monkeying around with log-ins to get those problems fixed.
Thanks @Bluey!
Good to know, makes sense, since it is a new thing.
I was gonna ask if you ever sleep
Could someone please explain the light/dark print? I was thinking the lighter print designated threads with no replies since I last looked at them, but that does not seem to be the case.
Threads youāve read (recently?) vs threads you have not?
This is probably another āyouāve already told meā questions.
I initially read a New topic but now not as interested. How do I get it to āfall offā my Unread list? (from the Big Macā¦) or will it eventually just go away -there are unread threads but Iām no longer interested.
There might be a fancier way to do this, but if you go into the thread, at the top (and bottom) there is a little drop down menu that says āTrackingā, which you can change to suit. If you turn off the tracking it doesnāt show up in your unread list.
Yep, what @Heinz_57 said
You can also change your ātrackingā settings in your profileāIIRC, if you read a thread for 4 minutes, you track it? You can extend that, four minutes isnāt very long!
Missing threads?
I wanted to provide an update post to an older topic in SHB. For the life of me, I canāt find the post! I donāt remember the exact title, it was about yearlings (now 2yos of 2020) born in 2018. It was started by Montanas_Girl. I have posted in it many times.
I canāt find it anywhere in my history. I canāt find it in Montanaās Girl history. I canāt find it endlessly scrolling the SHB page (I donāt remember post date, it was sometime late summer that I remember?). I did a search with terms I remember (including my horseās name). I canāt find it anywhere. Did it poof? Do I need to learn to search better?
Is this it? [Not-So] Sick Weanling - Update P.5: SHE'S HERE!!
I went to Montanas_Girlās profile, then under top topics, clicked more and looked for 2018 topics.
There have been some threads that have mysteriously gone missing. There is a discussion about it here:
I think that discussion is about the same thread you are looking for, actually.
I am sorry, the link will take you to the last post.
Ooopsā¦ looks like not that thread. Sorry. I canāt find a yearling one either.
Yep, 4 min is the default and I changed mine to never. If I want to track it Iāll do it by setting it myself.
I also noticed this morning it is below my Unread āsince last visitā line so maybe about to drop off on itās own but I will do the āuntrackā thing
Oh, and āreadingā a new topic I can usually be read and done in less than four minutes if Iām not interested. This was a case where I replied (and typing can often take more than 4 minutes), read a few times and then decided no longer interested.
So, I think Iām off to the topic untrack!
Thank you both!
Yes, Iāve reported her two MIA threads she called out in that post, along with another one that was reported via PM. Youāre definitely not doing anything wrong. This information is all backed up though, so I donāt think it should be a problem to resolve once we identify why they apparently werenāt imported initially. Thanks!
Do the colors associated with the individual forumsā¦change? I swear tech help used to be green, now itās black?
Is that a one time deal, or do the colors swap around based on some sort of metric?
Yeah, okay, Iām not losing it! Horse care used to be black, now itās blue, and tech help is black.
