Not at like two jumps every time…
So you have 2-3 lessons/week, but only jump 2 jumps in each lesson?
Or you free jump the horse 3-4x/week, but only 2 jumps each time, on top of your lessons?
Does your trainer know the horse is being jumped this frequently?

Yes, she knows. At lessons we jump a lot, but freejumping only a few.

Ohhhhh fordtraktor! Here’s another

I asked fishjumper to email me the pictures and have uploaded them to photobucket for everyone’s viewing pleasure.
Have at it.

This is kind of random… But have you guys ever heard of the olympic horse platinum? I think that is what his name is… I believe he competed in the olympics like 8 years ago. And if I’m wrong tell me!
The CoTH version of “Look! A squirrel!”

Ok, since email is working can you email somebody the jumping video to post? That way you don’t have to get another one.

I posted the pictures she emailed me in post #123.

I love the second pic. The horse is cute and you look happy. He may or may not be a GP horse (you’re not a GP rider so you don’t need one right?) but he is adorable.

So you’re jumping ‘a lot’ 2-3x/week, and then additionally free-jumping him 3-4x/week? No horse needs to be jumped 5-7 days a week, no matter how much they ‘love it’.

It’s not a distraction when I asked about Platinum… I know him and while we were talking GP I remembered him but couldn’t remember his name. And about the pics-my trainer does not allow photos of lessons. So no jump photos until tonight when I can use a computer. But any thoughts on comformation or muscling? I will admit, I’m biased. I think he’s perfect, but tell me what you think.

Is it me, or does the OP look more like 13-14 than 18?

Really cute and beautiful place. OP is that you holding him presumably?

He gets lessoned twice a week, flatted three, and free jumped once or twice.

Thats not me. That is my little sister.
No, its a dapple gray gelding. I don’t know who rode him in the olympics, but now he is owned by Heidi Austin-root
Cedric was a gray that was ridden at the Olympics back in 08…
McClain and Sapphire were there as well. Not saying there wasn’t a horse named Platinum at the Olympics on another team… But I can’t find one.

Is it me or does the white on the back legs not match up in both photos…?

Ok, that differs from what you said previously, but I’ll go with the above. Even so, 4 days of jumping a week is too much.

? The white matches up… One was right after body clipping, so he looks slightly different but not a lot.

He’s very cute, but hard to tell much about his confo from those photos. They’re at wonky angles that will distort things.

Your little sister looks like she adores him as well. And man is she going to be tall!

My whole family loves him. (Exept our dogs… They’re to scared to come close)

And we are going to the barn again today so I can get a better pic
