But I bet you don’t feel the same way about gelding… so think of it this way:
if man hadn’t first interfered with such an unnatural (albeit sometimes necessary) process as neutering, then there’d be no need/use for cloning. Thus cloning is used to “undo” the fact that humans interfered with nature’s way, in the first place. Hope that helps.
I think you’ll feel better about it once its results are more commonly seen. The technology really isn’t all that “new” and untested anymore, even in sport-horses: with Gem Twist, Calvaro V, ET FRH, Top Gun La Silla, and Scamper… all successfully cloned.
