PE is one of the brands I tried for 13.3 hand Lola last fall. It was hilarious! She’s a 70 or 72, and the PE drop was somewhere right around her knees. She ended up with a Schneiders cutback turnout - their cut for high headed horses, no surprise since she’s a show bred Morgan.
Yes, their drop is substantial! Perfect for my wider and taller TBs, but I can imagine it would be overwhelming on something a bit more petite!
I don’t plan to order unless I get a refund from Jeffers (though that would guarantee my order would ship!) but this guy is tall(er) at 16.3. My petite 15.2 on a good day thoroughbred would never be able to wear the PE blankets! He wears a pony fly mask and pony boots depending on the brand… lol
I don’t mind the fit of PE blankets on my guy. The quality is good. They’re just so. freaking. heavy. when they get wet. That’s my only gripe.
Do the three surcingles hook straight across?
No - the middle one goes straight across, but then the other two cross cross just like on a blanket with only two surcingles.

No progress on my tracking (still shows that UPS hasn’t received the item), but my order is now listed as fulfilled as of this morning. This is a huge step. Maybe I will receive this darn blanket? Or a blanket. No promises that it will be the right blanket.
I am just about ready to demand a refund. The tracking hasn’t been updated showing the item has shipped. So I reached out to customer service and this was the response:
I am so sorry about that. I have written this up and requested a reshipment. Please let me know if there is anything more I can assist you with. Have a great day.

I’ve been pestering for my refund. They just say sorry it could take 5-7 business days. But I’m so ready to just file a dispute with PayPal. I could use that $300+ back (we pay taxes here on all online orders).
Sorry both of you are having such issues! Maybe it’s a good thing I didn’t order one of these. I bet it will take a while to resolve but on Jeffers for overselling an item.
I get that it takes time to see the refund, but there is no excuse for not processing the refund… If nothing else, I’d except to see “We’ve processed your refund on XX, expect to see it post to your account within 5-7 days.” That isn’t what they seem to be saying.
I ended up ordering a 100g non-horseware blanket. I still want liners but I figure this should arrive soon and I’ll at least have something that I can use. And, if for whatever reason I do get the Rambo (in July), I don’t mind having a second 100g. It’s a useful weight.
Jeffers appears to be having issues. I ordered some bellboots while shopping on Amazon - fulfilled through Jeffers. I got a tracking number and it says “in transit” but nothing more for the last ten days…
I got mine today. I got a FedEx notification but no shipment notification or info from Jeffers.
I checked in on the third (!!) blanket they’re shipping me, and it’s coming via UPS with an expected arrival Thursday. The first two tries came via FedEx.
They have been VERY prompt and friendly responding to my various emails, which I appreciate.
I do need to go see if they’ve refunded anything…
If you are OK with Rambo originals, Corro is having a sale. Spend $250 and get a free Rambo heavy weight. Their blanket selection is very limited (lots sold out), but it’s an option if you can find something that works. I don’t anticipate needing a heavy this year but if I clip next winter, it will be useful. I did pick up an extra sheet. At this point, I’ve given up on my Rambo duo and sent a polite nasty email.
Do Americans ever shop in Canada? It seems like it would make sense, especially since our dollar tanked.

I asked for an ETA on a resolution of some kind yesterday (confirmation of original tracking number, reshipment, or refund) and… radio silence. While my email may not have been kind, it was polite. I was very frustrated. They have $300 and I have no product and no resolution and just the same “tomorrow” over and over and over again.
Despite not being satisfied with their response, this is the first time I haven’t received a reply.
ETA I lied. Here’s the most recent reply. I need to share. I’m banking on not receiving it now (shipping to work which will be closed come 12/20).
It looks like the adjustment is still in process. Once we reship we will email you with updated tracking information. This could take 5-7 business days.
I don’t even know what that means. New party line is 5-7 days. Old party line is we’ll ship tomorrow.
IIWM: Demand a refund. Say you will take it up with PayPal/CC if you don’t receive confirmation of an order cancellation and refund in process within 24 hours, and that you understand it may take a couple days to hit your account after being put through.
Having your money for 2+ weeks and no traction is cause for a dispute, IMO. Especially since they just keep blowing you off.
I told them this was completely unacceptable. They have the item or they don’t. And they can either resolve this immediately or I will open a dispute with PayPal.
(Meanwhile I ordered from Corro this morning and I’ve already received a shipping notification)
