@PeteyPie No, my results returned for that are listed by the threads in which my posts appeared too.

Here’s another way to look up your posts:

User Profile --> About --> (scroll to bottom) Links – > Find all posts

Before I contact them about seeing if we can change it, I’d like some feedback from users about how it works now and which type of search would be more useful…a quick, one-click way to access all of the threads in which you’ve recently posted, or one to access a list of all of your recent posts?

I’m trying to find if there’s a way to pull up all of your individual posts in a given thread. Anyone had luck with that?

Thanks for that instruction. I prefer a one-click access to posts, but this works too. It’s not a big deal for me now that I know how to do it.

The ignore function is not working. I had an intact list when you moved the boards, and it worked for a day or two. Then somehow these vanished, I have added them again, twice, but the function does not work.

I no longer get an email digest of the forums I subscribed to on the old site. So, I unsubscribed and tried to resubscribe, but I received the following error message when I clicked the subscribe button at the top of a forum:

Error:

• Sorry, you are not authorized to view this page (no_permission)

Had the same, a populated list then list went to zero,would add some it would go back to zero, now has a few in the list but does not function.

I never saw the function work at all on this new version of the board.

My guess is if this safety valve feature unless repaired might cause a boiler explosion

Ignore may not be being ignored, it may be research is in progress along with research on all the other issues and may not be as big a priority

The first couple of days, I could type in the last page number at the top of a thread and click on the right facing arrow and get taken to the last page. That no longer works in XP, SP3. Now I’m only allowed to go to the next page no matter what I type when I click on the right facing arrow.

I just tried that and same thing i’m on windows 10 only takes you to the next page number.

What works for me is to type in the page number and hit return. Just checked on this thread and it let me maneuver around that way. I’m in Chrome on Mac but worth a try for others.

Exactly. Plus, there are some posters who always bring out my “I can’t come to bed yet, someone is wrong on the internet” reflex, and I just don’t have time for that. For now, I’m just trying to stay away from any obviously political threads started by people who are likely to cause my boiler to explode. :lol:

Like in the old forum, sometimes the system identifies content as possible spam and will put a post in a moderation queue for approval instead of posting it right away. I just approved your posts, so you can see if they appeared as intended.

Hmmm…I don’t think that feature every worked for me by entering a page number then clicking an arrow to proceed. I think they’re supposed to function via the return key and the arrows are for navigating forward or back one page at a time.

The time stamps, ignore list, read/unread differentiation of threads and notifications have all already been reported the developers and are in the queue for investigation.

I think some of the posting issues you’ve been experiencing may be related to them working behind the scenes and are hopefully just transient. Please let me know if they persist.

When on forums to search different sections i noticed the health section isn’t showing thread that should be listed. It shows thread before it as first topic.Like now it shows the thread Natural vit E capsules, but thread that’s at top of page when you click on health section, is Sores from elastic girth.

Agreed; this is how they’ve functioned for me as well. Arrows are forward/back, number + enter = go to that page.

Is the post number on the thread list page going to be a clickable link again? Where you could see who posted and how many times?

Hitting the quote button still automatically scrolls you to this quick reply box, so you have to scroll back up to where you were reading.

I also just had a strange experience. I hit quote, scrolled back and continued to read. Advanced to page 2, read some more and then realized my quote was gone. It was not registered at the top and did not show in the bottom box. (Hope that description makes sense.)

Quotes do not persist with page changes for me. Did they ever?

IIRC, multiquote was also one page only? I don’t remember the old board having cross page quoting functionality.

They most definitely worked from page to page on the old forum, you are recalling incorrectly. They worked for the whole thread, I did it many times. Mark things to quote as I read thru the thread and at the end have all the things I wanted to comment on populate the reply box.
