I’m getting no notification on anything,i have no subscriptions. The pages are changing now…White icon thing shows if i have it on POST instead of Last Activity. Don’t like it on Post it takes you to first post,not into scrolling through a million post to read last one posted.

Well now it wont let me upload photos says invalid REALLY so pretty hard to show screenshot. And now not receiving any notifications,even ones i have checked to receive. I’ve uploaded photos from same place and now it won’t let me.

Files allowed are jpg, jpeg,png i’ve tried all those it WONT let me upload get invalid.

Yeah, seems to be working fine for me. All of my notifications are coming through, too. Curious that you’re having all these problems.

What type of file are you trying to load? It likes .JPG files. I tried to use a couple of other extensions and those did not work.

Edit to add - I just tried to load a PNG file and I got the same error as your link shows.

I’ve tried all the links allowed none work get the invalid. jpg/ jpeg neither will upload. Notifications don’t work either. i should receive notifications on being quoted being tagged not happening. here’s another link showing screenshot of my settings. https://postimg.org/image/ppfla1icj/ and not getting any of the notifications i have checked in my setting.

Please stop taking pictures of your screen with your phone. This really doesn’t help to convey the problem.

What does this mean? What pages?

And no notifications still.

Perhaps a screen shot (using snipping tool or print screen) of your notification settings would help here.

Since you just got your computer back from repair, maybe it’s still not working correctly.

@Zuzu the private message function is still there. This is certainly where you can ask questions, but you may have to wait longer than 24 hours for a response from the mod. If you’d like to detail more about whatever issue you’re running into sending your message, perhaps one of us can help.

I was near the 100 message cap on the other board, I think, and haven’t run into any cap here despite sending and receiving several. So guessing that the cap is gone, or raised.

Thank you - I’m not trying to be pushy or require a fast answer - I was simply making sure this IS WHERE I leave a question.

Go into your notifications and use the filter to display dismissed notifications. Are the ones you’re missing there?

Notifications dismiss automatically if you visit the thread they pertain to before you view the notification. That is by design, and how it’s supposed to work.

Photo upload seems to be working fine for others. If you can detail the steps you’re taking, perhaps we can figure out where it’s going wrong for you.

If the snipping tool is too difficult, print screen still functions just fine on Win 10.

I think snipping tool is one of the best things ever invented. I swear I use it multiple times per day. Anyone who does not have it so should get it.

(I realize this really has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but snipping tool keeps coming up so I just had to say it.)

PrtScrn. It’s on every single Windows keyboard I’ve ever seen. Might have to use Alt or Fn with it, depending on the type.

You’re already loading pictures to an external site and posting the link, so that’s all you have to do.

Yes, we can see the images of your pictures from your phone of your screen. Most of the time they are very difficult to make out. The last one was an exception

@tazycat try clearing your cache, cookies, temp files, all that, and see if that helps the .jpg upload.

and I tagged you on purpose to see if you’d get a notification. Also, please get a screen shot of your notification settings.

To lazy to mess with trying to upload another screenshot,it took over 30 minutes to finally get last one uploaded. This link of screenshot is from phone. Yes i got the notification this time but haven’t been getting them reliably. I get notification i don’t want like request for subscription to my profile,which i don’t have checked off to receive.

Not sure i’ll remember what i did to finally get pic uploaded,might be able to do so again might not. I cleared out my cache. Computer was cleaned out when i took it to be to get fixed so temp files had already been removed. I cleared cookies tonight.

I’m sorry if this has been asked already, this thread is too large for me skim through. I can’t hide my birthday and age on the profile - it gives me an error that says I do not have permission to hide my birthday when I go to hit save.
