Can’t say, but similar, I clicked on “private” and “hide” in my profile and I still show up, at least to myself, in all kinds of active poster lists?
Will be curious to hear how that works, or doesn’t.
the system really doesn’t know your age, you can put any value you want in as long its with the designed perimeters
When ever I am asked that on a public forum I just use a standard default age and date of birth.
New to me is the system is slowing down. Admittedly I haven’t been here much in since the change but the load rate is getting back to the same as the old system. The last few visits have been ever increasing slow.
Also, once posting on a thread, if going back to the table of contents, the post I just made does not show to have been made. I am not back clicking but going through the menu which should show updated results.
It is slow loading because of the avatars, if you click on them to not show up, some report it speeds up.
I have also noted that, since yesterday afternoon, when I post it doesn’t show in the main forum menu, the old post that was showing before is there, some times it is until several have posted before it changes again.
That seems to be a new glitch?
Do you mean your on invisible mode? I’m in that mode and i see myself on the active user list but there’s a * after my user name. You can see yourself but no one else can.
That glitch has been going on for a while. The notification thing works on and off for me somedays doesn’t work at all. Then today had one but nothing was there. Loading pics is a problem sometimes too,so still got glitches going on.
Not that as I have selected None be visible (also I am not Hindu)
also that Little Green Dot (low left side of poster info box)… poster is on-line… ALL posters show always to me being on-line at this time as all green dots are filled …always
Hmmm, not in my laptop, some are green, some grey?

I might be color blind then as gray to green is of little variance especially with a gray surround… to be more easily used a color difference other than the background color of gray should be used to contrast with the back ground … but if I was interested about a person being on-line all one needs to do is check the status of who is on-line (at the top of a page, just click on it)
I wonder if the ones working on the platform glitches are moving things around to see what is going on?
Maybe that is why we are experiencing strange stuff at times, like other little things not working right then, like posting notations to the main forum pages right away, or changing colors in the dots?
I agree that the color green and grey are hard to see without looking closer.
Yours right now is very bright, deep green, but the greys are harder to see, you are right there.
Maybe a bigger dot would help?
By the way, mine still is grey and I am posting, so obviously on line.

Here is a side by side of an online and visible and a offline or invis dot. They are very clearly different to me, but YMMV depending on monitor/eyeballs

And I am also invisible, so I will ALWAYS show as offline

I just checked my light isn’t lite up and i’m online. I see my Avatar in the who’s on line but there’s the * after my user name.
Oh, so that is working for others not to see you, but you still see yourself listed there, I do, with an * behind my name?
That is a neat feat of programming there.
You and Tazycat are both grey, not green and I think you are online now, strange that.
Heck, everyone right now is grey?
They must be working where they turned that feature off for now?
Yep i see myself with * behind my name the light isn’t lite up though. Everyone else not on invisible the light is lite up green.
