I can’t stop watching that video. Good lord.

All I can say is bonus points to Crockpot for the Seinfeld reference.

Slightly off topic:
I am not sure but if these pictures are of who I think it is, then I can attest to dressurpferd01’s ability to ride and train. I’ve seen several of his horses in action as well as had him handle one of our mares. Top notch rider and trainer.
True story.
The interesting thing about COTH (kellydressage, I’m writing this for you if you’re still reading:)) is that no one has a problem giving credit where credit is due.
God Bless that horse for not killing him.
And I bet his saddler loves replacing his humped out seats.
Good Lord that was awful.
Ok, it skated in right under the wire but… Can we just go ahead and call it? This HAS to win the award for GREATEST TRAINWRECK OF 2013!!! (and possibly EVER)
I mean seriously you guys, this is absolutely epic.

He doesn’t HAVE a publishing deal. He’s a scam artist and a fraud.
I can’t wait to see this video!
By the way, since I’m sure it will brought up by Kelly/Nick, I AM a Grand Prix rider/trainer, though my specialty is young horses.

And these horses are telling me all that I need to know too. Lovely all around.

Y’all calling down the thunder and playing Monkey-Humping-an-Appy Dress-ahge over here without alerting us in the OT folder!
Shame!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
I have nothing else to add. Thank you thank you thank you for whoever found that vid!
It’s nice to know that no matter how bad I was or think I am, I’m still riding better than a Maestro. I ride an off breed too and NP ain’t done nuthin’ for me! Sweet Jaysus!
Here’s the FB page for the NJ clinic he’s doing in February. This barn as been notified about this thread and its findings. Should the clinic still happen I think it would be fabulous if some COTHers attended and took some video to add to the collection. Introduce yourselves too and ask if he plans on coming back to the boards to answer more questions.

Yeah, but I think NP and KD have left the building.

God bless that poor long suffering animal. If he tried to do that to mine he would be eating arena footing faster than you can say haute ecole.

Right? If someone attempted that with my thoroughbred you would find out what a catty little bucker he is. That and he’d be laid up for 6 months with a sore back. That’s some real life off-breed dressage for you
Ok, I wasn’t going to chime in.
But does anyone else think maybe Heather Hill had a sex change?
That video was soooo worth the wait.
Lord have mercy . . . . on that poor horse.
He was 17 in 1998 so that means he was born in 1981, making him roughly 32.
It would seem like he has very little time to have become an accomplished Dressage rider with the skill set that has been alluded to.

Do you don’t know how to read? In his interview he says he took 11 years away to raise a family. He has been riding obviously up to the point of the things he did as a teenager. He also sold Chevy and bought a few and trained a few. He did teach for a while and continue to train just not at that level as Chevy. I think he is in his 30s, not sure when he got married and had children, but common sense tells us that he did not get married at 17, so obviously he continued to train for several years.
First of all the only JEALOUSY in this thread is me - Jealoushe!
Second of all…my blog is in my signature where you can see the last 4 years of my riding life, although I am an eventer we do DO dressage. There are plenty of crappy dressage tests featured there for my embarrassment.
Third of all…I am kind of sad for you, and even more sad for Chevy. I know we do dumb things with our horses when we are young, but you are now 2 years older than me and should know better.
Levade, capriole, airs mean didly squat when you are just teaching tricks. If you want to make a living as an instructor, I suggest you start over and get yourself some lessons for the next 10-15 years and go from there.
Happy New Year.
Nick…you may want to consider protecting that genius noggin of yours with a helmet

this is getting good.
That video is the crowning glory of anything that has ever been posted on COTH.
