Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide
No escape from reality…

Normally I would not fully engage in such a thread but I just spent the afternoon helping a friend research a horse that she was interested in buying only to find out the seller lied about his past health history. Through a little research and contacting the Registry and talking with his past owner she found out that he foundered one year ago. When she tried the horse out the other day he had been buted. The whole situation is sad and makes me frustrated with how folks so misrepresent themselves/ their horses…similar to this guy.

I am thankful that folks question “credentials” and research who they get involved with (either as a trainer, rider, seller, buyer, etc). I am also thankful that this information becomes public for others to read. Yes, out of all the pages on this thread a lot of it is just banter/ comments, but there is a base of truthful information.

If one is to call themselves a professional at anything, they need training and proof to show their aptitude. He is promoting himself as a professional trainer and yes that requires schooling/ training/ apprenticeship. It also requires some proof of his skills and that can be obtained in the dressage world with either show scores, students show scores or instructional videos of themselves. Further confirming why we NEED a trainers program here in the US. It would at least remove someone like him from the equation.

Lastly, there are links under my profile that go to my website where you can read all my credentials, see pictures and video of myself and my horses. You can also see my show scores at centerline. I am a struggling AA, hoping to compete Third Level with my homebred mare. I have trained and taken clinics with many instructors. I have read and audited more than I care to admit:) I have spent all my vacation time the last few years studying breeding and starting of the young dressage horse in Germany through the Hannoveraner Verband. I have ridden horses trained to I-ll a handful of times and even rode a real piaffe once, boy was that fun! Sadly I feel like I am more qualified to promote myself as a trainer than Mr.P and I am no where near qualified to call myself anything other than a struggling AA.

But where are your silk reins? No AIRS? Well, clearly not of the level of the Master. Oy, lovely riding and horses.

He doesn’t HAVE a publishing deal. He’s a scam artist and a fraud.

I can’t wait to see this video!

By the way, since I’m sure it will brought up by Kelly/Nick, I AM a Grand Prix rider/trainer, though my specialty is young horses.

Hey, give the guy a break. He’s trying to make a living. I mean Barnum did pretty well after all…and his wife, Morgan Fairchild…I mean kellydressage…yeah that’s it…seems happy to support him along with others at his clinics…

He makes Linda Parelli look like she knows what she’s doing…

I have been riding with my current instructor for four years now. I have watched her train her current GP horse the piaffe and passage over the years. This is the third horse she has started from scratch and taken through GP (with show scores). Not once did it look like that video. I went to a S. Peters clinic a few years ago that had some focus on training a horse the piaffe. Not once did he or the riders participating look like that. Nor did they recommend starting without spurs and then later put on a pair of super spurs to get the horse to react. “Training” a horse at 17 years old is only admirable and impressive if it was done well.

yeahbutt you must admit its damn entertaining

yes. what was I thinking?

For those with legal knowledge, is there any recourse for Jentri Stables against Nick because he is using their address instead of his own address?

I still wonder why he is so reluctant to post all his worldwide clinics for 2014.

Oh, Nick has copied a post on COTH by Kelly (Keeley?) that is now on his facebook page.

I’m laying in my bed, sick as a dog, singing Bohemian Rhapsody at the top of my scratchy lungs. My dogs are howling, and I think my DH is running down the hallway to see what the heck all the cacophonous noise is.

Yes, I am singing, but that does not make me a professional singer.

No matter if I am 17 or 70…

Ok, I may regret it but I’m going to indulge. I don’t have video but I have these pics teaching my big, strong, long, downhill warmblood piaffe and passage for the very first time… You know, the correct way, with a non-saddle-humping rider (moi) and a skilled ground person… Actually, the ground person is one of the most skilled pi/pa trainers in the country IMO (Alfredo Hernandez). Funny, he doesn’t have much in the way of a show record here in the U.S. but he has built an exceptional reputation and has helped a number of the top riders in the country train pi/pa. It probably doesn’t count because my horse is a warmblood though, huh?

Here ya go:

Whoever sent links to the clinic hosts. Did you hear anything back? Curious if they are as loyal as KellyDressage. Either way, they’ve been informed. The rest is up to them.

Not yet. Still waiting on them and Dressage Today. I made it clear to the Iowa barn that their name has been mentioned here multiple times and this thread comes up when you Google Nick’s name. Hopefully they value their reputation more than a clinic.

No one has legal knowledge because if they did they would have shut up a long time ago. I am certainly giving all this this, this large file of print outs to Peronace and I wish him the absolute best in terms of a lawsuit. You all have done nothing but twist the truth to satisfy your own agenda. And the so called " moderator" is MIA allowing a gross negligence to occur. Im no lawyer but it’s out of your own hatred that you people cannot see this is definitely defamation!!!

What is defamation. Folks questioned his credentials, exposed his lies and made fun of his riding. Unpleasant, but not defamation.

I am willing to entertain this thought if you provide exact examples from this thread of the defamation you are claiming. You will have to do this in court anyway, so why not tell us what we have wrong now?

New stuff appearing on Nick’s facebook page, Keeley.
Please leave Paul out of it. He is a friend, a man of class and one HELL of a hand.
Threadjacking here but I saw in facebook his kid just qualified for the olympics. How cool is that?

If one of those farms cancels a clinic, if his publisher backs out, if he sustains any financial loss as a result of the chronicle of the horse, he for sure has a wonderful case for defamation.
If you criticized his—riding one thing.
Start contacting people to try to ruin him somehow and then post that you did it on this message for him, and no moderator---- defamation of character lawsuit.
