Nick Peronce Dressage Clinic

Nicks way to hump your horse into relaxation

It may be private?? Iā€™m on my iPad which apparently always gets links wrong but hereā€™s a try at it:

If not, I screen shotted a few pics for good measure :)
Is he pissoffing in front of a gas pump?

I want to know when the OP is gonna come back on and give us more details about the clinic??
How beginner were the ā€˜beginnersā€™? What level were the ā€˜advancedā€™ riders?? What exercises did he have her do to help her OTTB get more supple?
Andā€¦most importantly!!..what did he COOK???

I really hope that NP and/or his daughter would be able to spell his name properly.

ā€¦ Then again, you guys are probably right. The OP does scream of Nickā€™s writing style.

Still, it is possible that the Nick Peronce who had a dressage in Iowa, where he helped supple an OTTB and cooked for people, is not the same as the Nick Peronace who humped to Third. :D
Thereā€™s a [person] who ā€œlikesā€ that picture - I bet sheā€™s the OP.

This IA barn has hosted him before, IIRC. For whatever reason they seem to like the Beefman.

OMG the Peronace Pipe-dream Savvy Horsenality Carrot Schtick Club

Iā€™m hoping for a poem, or even a limerick.

The woman on the Friesian is a better rider than he is. She should be teaching the clinic!

This past weekend Nick Peronce droveto Iowa from PA for a dressage!!! At the clinic we had beginners all the way up to advanced and Nick could help with something for everyone!! He really helped me with getting my OTTB supple. I was very impressed! He had a great attitude and is really easy to work with. After lessons he even cooked for us lol. We really enjoyed having Nick here and plan on having him back in March. If you guys ever get a chance to ride with him, do it!!!
Dear Caitc, it would appear that this is your first exposure to dressage. While Iā€™m glad you are enthusiastic about learning the sport, I recommend working with a bona-fide dressage professional trainer/rider. Itā€™s hard to un-do incorrect training.

Mara, please remove the OPā€™s name from your post. Itā€™s not fair to name her here.

Ma Chere - Iā€™ll need a glass of wine to prepare for that!!!
Does anyone have video from this clinic? Iā€™d actually love to see Nickā€™s teaching style.
Yes please. It is hard to decide who to clinic with when there are so many amazing options out there. A video of one of Nickā€™s clinics (or parts of it) would be great to truly show us just what goes on at a NP clinic.

That was what I understood.

Did somebody say wine?
Nah, you should be able to see them here: https://www.facebook.com/NickPeronaceDressage/photos_stream
Let me just say how fantastic that is and how JEALOUS I am.

Nobody could afford to spring for an airline ticket ?

Skydy, you are being paged!

Do you think if I asked nicely he would come to Southern Pines? We have a few ā€œdecentā€ trainers, but nothing like NP. Iā€™ll supply the wine for the COTHers

Itā€™s like Christmas, over and over and overā€¦

OK glass of red in handā€¦here goes - Iā€™ll get it started but someone help me with the last line??

There once was a guy named Peronace

Who was quite an opinionated A*ss

He developed a Schtick

With a carrot stick

ā€¦

I hope he gets his forums mixed up and starts talking about beef.

I would certainly attend.

Though we appreciate there are certain similarities in writing style between the original poster of this thread and Mr. Peronace, we were able to link the email address registered to this account to an Iowa resident, who we were also able to link to some ā€œhorse stuff.ā€ So, while she may not have happened to discover this site randomly and decided to share a positive experience with this individual, it does appear to be a genuine review, so letā€™s nip that line of discussion in the bud.

Thanks!
