I remember that last year they waited until today to have some kind of discount. Did I miss an email? I need to buy joint supplement either way, just don’t want to be missing out on a coupon code to do it.

Dover’s “gift card for $X” deals are usually a good value. My horse is on one of SmartPak’s house brand supplements (SmartStride Ultra- good stuff, especially when it’s on sale) so it’s not helping me today!

Well that stinks that it can’t be combined with Perks and USEF discounts. Used to be you could get 20% off when they did their 15% off sales (5% USEF and 15% sale.)

Anyone remember the days when the discounts could be combined?
I also used to get $10 off coupons on the backs of magazines that came with my orders and I don’t seem to get those anymore. The last one I got (early spring) couldn’t be used during any sales- I don’t remember that being an issue in the past. Smartpak used to feel like a great value but not so much in the past 6 months.
Maybe I am misremembering though

You could also use the coupons and the various random promo discount codes they would run on smartpak brand supplements on auto ship but that has stopped as well. That seems to have changed with this new CEO. They also took away free shipping unless you spend X amount or send it with your supplements. Smart perks used to have free shipping regardless of amount spent.

I keep my smartpaks for convenience but I am not a fan of the direction the company has taken.

I noticed the free shipping was taken away recently. The day I noticed I cancelled all my horses smartpaks.

FYI, Dover has extended their deal through today (Tuesday)
I went yesterday and stocked up on supplements and boot polish and Effax tack cleaner - all of which I needed anyway - and will use the $100 gift card at the Tent Sale.
The $200 you spend to get the gift card does not apply to sale merchandise…
There is no free shipping at all, or just not on certain dollar amounts?
I looked at my supplement order that shipped recently and it did not have shipping.

So it will get sent with the barns supplements that week? That was my understanding of it. But no more free SmartPerks shipping to your home regardless of amount spent.
My SmartPaks totaled $39 and no longer shipped for free apparently. I also was trying to order something to ship to the barn and no longer had Smartperks free shipping. I could have added another supplement I guess, but the horses just didn’t need anything more and I was mostly keeping the SmartPaks for the Perks.

We actually don’t have barn supplements, but are set up in the Barn Buddies program. Our orders ship on Mondays as long as they are ordered by noon that day.
Another Smartpak disappointment for me - I ordered 2 items that I was told would arrive 9/5. Then today (9/5) I get an email saying they cancelled my order for both items.
The first item was white Hadley breeches, eligible for the sale - not a seasonal item or special color, I would expect they would keep this in stock.
The second item was a fairly common supplement, not eligible for the sale and something I would expect even if they happen to run out of should re-order.
What a disappointment, both that they couldn’t/wouldn’t fill my order and that I wasn’t notified sooner. I think I’ll stick to Riding Warehouse from now on.

Dover has been A+ for me lately. I ordered a pair of boots, regular shipping, and they were at my house literally two days later. I haven’t ordered from SP since their shipping and system disaster last October. Their app also stopped working a few days ago, so there is zero motivation to even check for sales, etc. with them anymore.
