I agree, @skydy!
Been following along - so glad for you that she seems to be doing fine and may it continue. Babies are so fragile
Hugs. When she finally gets home and is healthy, you can have a great big gin, you will deserve it.
Looking good! Expecting more pictures tomorrow! Wahoo! Thanks for the positive update.
I’m glad she’s recovered—I know you’re relieved! And so cute…!
OMG that face! What a truly beautiful head! I saw the updated title, and came here to demand you post pictures!
Thanks everyone! As of the most recent update, the hauler had made it into TX. I expect another update when she gets to her stopping point for the evening. I definitely won’t be getting much sleep tonight with as excited as I’m feeling!
Doesn’t she have a fabulous head and neck? Definitely takes after her Arabian dam in that respect!
What an adorable filly! Best of luck with her.
Just got word that my hauler is running ahead of schedule and will be here in about 2-3 hours! I hope the students in my 8 am lecture forgive me for being a wee bit distracted/rushed this morning!
Montanas_Girl, I am so happy to hear this good news and that Sydney is almost there.
I hope she is even better that you expect when she steps off the trailer!!!
She is definitely a looker!
What a delightful looking little baby. Huge congratulations!!
She’s lovely! What’s her breeding?
She’s half Arabian and half Quarter Horse: https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/index.php?query_type=horse&h=TCR+AUTOMATICALYDUNIT&g=5&cellpadding=0&small_font=1&l= (this horse is her full brother).
Thank you! She’s half Arabian and half Quarter Horse. I tried to post a link to her full brother’s pedigree; I guess it’s going to take a while to be approved. Her Quarter Horse sire is Hollywood Dun It/Shining Spark bred, and her Arabian dam is mostly Crabbet/CMK bred, specifically from Al-Marah lines.
O…M…G She is so stinkin’ CUTE! She’s going to be just lovely as an adult with those lines. The Crabbet/CMK pedigree really brought sturdy refinement to the QH side of things.
Thanks! I’m thrilled with how this whole custom foal adventure turned out, to be sure! Granted, the QH/Arab cross is pretty tried and true, but it’s always a gamble! She is destined to be my ranch riding/western dressage/maybe reining horse in a few years.
She.Is.Gorgeous!
Welcome home little girl! She is adorable! What a nice looking baby.
Gorgeous girl! Glad she made the trip well. And that she’s happy and healthy after her earlier issues.
You will I’ll have to keep us posted.
P.
Congratulations that she finally made it and is such an adorable filly.
That quiet disposition and steady mind is priceless.
Now a new adventure begins for both of you.
Yeah because Shining Spark and Hollywood Dun It were hard on the eyes.:lol::winkgrin:
I don’t know much about her dams lines, but we sired read like a who’s who of working QHs!
She truly is stunning! I imagine you’re leaning towards the working western classes with her. Good luck.
