Just wow.

Victoria Max Theurer?

Pick me LOL

come on lotto!

Pretty boy!

I’m usually not all THAT into WBs, preferring the Baroques… but, just for now, I could lower my standards… :uhoh:

The guest rider scores for rideabillity catch my eye. But I suspect I still can’t hold a candle to their skill.

Ditto what PP said. Normally I don’t fall for the big guys like WB’s but he sure is a lovely handsome boy. Very droolworthy!

This Victoria would take him.

My Sandro Hit x Donnerhall mare is a saint.

The Oldenburg web site has this write-up:

One of the most exciting events there for breeders and sport horse enthusiasts alike is the finals of the 3 year old stallions and the 4 year old stallions. This year, it was the Oldenburg Verband that presented the champions of both!

The finals for the 3 year old Stallions was a battle of the State Champions. The second group of finalists were the State Champions from Oldenburg, Hanover, and Westphalia, one of which was a son of Sandro Hit, and the other two, sons of Sir Donnerhall. The judges commented on how incredibly high the quality of this group was. In the end it was the breathtakingly beautiful son of Sandro Hit, San Doncisco, ridden by Kira Wulferding who prevailed with incredible scores including a perfect 10 for her canter!

The judges commented that the canter was “elastic with a consistent and steady rhythm with a huge jump from behind in the stride, especially in the lengthened canter. We could not imagine better.” The stallion also earned a 9.5 for his trot, 8.5 for the walk, 8.5 conformation, 9.5 for his level of training, and 9.5 for his overall impression resulting in an astounding overall score of 9.17! The judges were really impressed with how confident and secure the horse was in himself. The(y) noted how relaxed, rhythmical and steady he was throughout the entire test. The two guest riders also agreed giving him by far the highest rideability score of 19 (out of a possible 20!).

San Doncisco’s dam, St.Pr.St. De Luxe M is sired by the legendary Donnerhall and is out of the mare Rosenfee (Rohdiamant x Fauna (Grundstein I)) who is also the dam of the approved Grand Prix stallion Sancisco (Sandro Hit). Sancisco has been winning at Grand Prix at a very young age with scores above 71% in Germany. So considering San Doncisco’s obvious talent along with this proven blood line, the bidding for him in the upcoming Oldenburg Elite Auction on October 1st and 2nd will be thrilling to see!

As nice as this guy is, I have to be the spoil sport here and say that there is already PLENTY of that blood combined in stallions out there.

How many more times can you say Sandro Hit, Donnerhall and Rubinstein all in one horse?

I would fill my barn with them 10 times over if they were as nice as Shakira or this guy, IMO. And in fact, try finding a Sandro Hit x Donnerhall (nevermind SxDxR) for sale anywhere in the United States. And there is not a single stallion standing here with that bloodline, to my knowledge.

Just some awesome examples off the top of my head:
~Sonntagskind: Sandro Hit x Donnerhall x Rubinstein I.
~Sir Donnerhall: Sandro Hit x Donnerhall.

I think it is a fabulous cross and I don’t get sick of seeing it.

Ditto. There isn’t a stallion with that exact pedigree anywhere in North America.

With his pedigree, movement, temperament, handleability and rideability, it would not surprise me if he goes upwards of Euro 200,000+++. He has a lot to offer Mare Owners who have mares in the A, D, F dressage lines, plus the G and L jumping lineages. Especially to mare owners who have mares in certain jumping lineages because as Dr. Ludwig Christmann counseled us over this weekend at our Hanoverian meeting, dressage breeders need to selectively include jumping lineages in their breeding to get the power back. You could use certain high quality jumping lines and breed to this boy and get pretty spectacular results (assuming he passes his quality on, there’s always that risk with a young unproven stallion). He’s Oldenburg, but I doubt it would be long before he’s also approved Hanoverian and all other German associations.

I happen to have just the mare, actually that would fit him quite nicely. A and D dressage motherline and Lugano across the top. A foal from her and this stallion would be rather exciting for me.

I wish I had been there; I believe very strongly in this approach. I am glad he raised it.

I don’t know much but I found this guy pretty quickly:

He was bred in the USA.

He is standing in Canada and is not S X D x R (he also is only licensed CW and RPSI which makes him irrelevant for many breeders).

I stated that I was not aware of any Sandro Hit x Donnerhall X Rubinstein stallions standing in the United States.

He also isn’t approved with any major European registry despite the fact that he is out of an ELite mare. And…a search of his website show no offerings of stallion performance testing nor proof of performance in sport. :frowning:

Well, I think it would be very useful for San Doncisco to come to the U.S. and compete and stand at stud here. Could someone call Hilltop for me? Chris Hickey? He just needs to be in the neighborhood, I think! LOL!
