Olympic Cross Country, One Hour to Start!!!!

take it back! I guess All Luck just hates halfpasses. Wow! Fastest time yet!

Tight, tight scores (unless Mary can do the imossible!). Two rails between the to ten, basically.

Look at that rain! Good thing Mary’s used to it.

Great job to Mary for regrouping in the water like that!

Yeah, I was wondering if we were looking at the same horse! Connaught didn’t pull up like a horse with ANYTHING left in the tank, IMO.

I think they heard you![/QUOTE]

I hope so! I don’t mind watching other riders on the course but when they’re just showing shots of the pond or of riders dismounting and hugging after the finish instead of showing the US riders it’s annoying.

Fortunately they did start to show more of Phillip toward the end. Unfortunately they showed more of him after he finished and was untacking than they did of him on course. Oh well.

LOVED the course though! Looked very challenging.

Great ride by Mary so far, love her horse.

Mary could have the fastest time…

oh dear fall for the french horse = both are up

Shame that the French rider just fell. Looked like a slip on the landing in the rain. Both appear fine.

yikes? slip?

Pulled up very abruptly and dropped his head to his knees, leaving his hind legs spread exactly where they’d just stopped moving. Like he was too tied to even try to find a comfortable position.

oh, the French guy… been wating for that to happen at that fence all evening. It was begging for a hung leg.

What a shame for the French guy :frowning: They both seem ok but the French team did not need that :(:(:frowning:

The swedish rider looks happy at the finish. I love seeing grins and pats as they hit the finish line.

Mary is still clocking around. And made it over the two brush fences!

Mary, that had a heart in the throat at the end there!!!
Wow…

wow- she gutted that one out for sure!!

Wynn, that’s sad to hear, I missed that part, I saw the brushes and then the screen cut off and then came back and he was surrounded by grooms with tack off. Hope he has a good night.

Oh hell, I missed that, I stopped watching him as soon as he jumped the last fence. Switching between windows, and I missed it. Sure hope he is alright.

WOOHOO Mary King!

Well, what a day!! Congratulations to Mike E-S and all the riders
