Olympic Dressage

Jog is over, times are out, and competition starts tomorrow. How are people in the US watching? It looks like E! is going to have some coverage overnight, but I don’t trust them to show full rides. Is a Peacock subscription the only option?

Peacock is not that expensive and you can cancel anytime. The coverage has been awesome in my opinion!

Thanks! I’ll sign up today so I’m good to go tomorrow.

Agree, it’s been well worth it so far.

Where can you find the start times? The olympics site has the order, but no times listed.

It starts at 5 am eastern standard time! I will try to find the list but USA Dressage has it for sure. Olympics.com has the list of riders in order!

Tuesday 10 am central on E! they’re supposed to show dressage, and Wedneday at 9 am central on E! also. I’m hoping for commentators that know something about it, and don’t overshadow the event.

It’s been rumored that Snoop Dogg will have Martha Stuart sitting eith him as the “expert”, but that may only be for the freestyle. I can’t wait /s/

B/c I can find only a picture of a screenshot from someone’s [TV maybe?], listing what might be the go order. (Squeezes 2 days on one chart).

I’m skeptical b/c I searched and searched the go order of Eventing classes, kept turning up headlines that advertised Go Order but they were someone’s interpretation and not what appeared on the day.

This is from eurodressage. Maybe it will turn out to be the best.

The Peacock (not NBC) Eventing feed had John Kyle & Lucinda Green, assuming they’ll find someone dressage-y to do it with him? Lucinda’s commentary was really educational so hoping they find someone equally skilled at talking about dressage!

I suspect they will continue. She may not know the intricasies of upper level dressage, but she has been around all of it a long time. Jon Kyle is in my opinion the very best in the business. He covers them all so he is familiar with SJ, Dressage, and eventing. He knows the history of the horses and riders, and is all around just a joy to listen to.His brother has ridden in the Irish event team before!
