Olympic Live Stream Discussion Thread - It's On!

Yikes, that made me gasp out loud in the office!

At the moment this course is creating a lot of small mistakes.

Its on BBC live.
https://www.unblock-us.com/ and set your country to UK
Trying to do this but they are “walking me through” a complicated process??

ARGH! This is going to take forever, and I’m not getting it?

Loved ALR/JP’s round, sorry to see the run-out (I wasn’t expecting it!) but what an accomplishment for both.

Good save for the Irish team/Porloe, yow - tough line. I absolutely love his horse.

From the rides so far, looks like a very exacting course demanding very accurate rides.

ETA: Porloe crashed. So upset - I just gasped out loud. That poor horse. I absolutely hate that line, I said it in the other thread – why are those fences with such crappy groundlines needed?

ALR hit a few quite hard (or so it appeared), hope she is okay tomorrow.

PM me, what are you setting up?

I’ve got NCIS showing on mine as well. Super annoying. My iPad app is showing NCIS and my Apple TV it just says coverage will begin shortly.
i closed out everything and now got it. French rider clear and inside the time.

Fall of of horse and rider for Irish but look ok. Horse a bit lame but more stiff by the looks of it. He was walking better on last shots.

Fantastic round from Astier Nicholas.

Horse fall for Padraig. Too deep to the corner. Both up and look fine.

Oh my god…HAd that pin broke maybe a better ending, that horse rotated but after hitting teh ground…yikes

JP’s ride was quite rough. Glad she got around.

Astier Nicolas is one of the very best riders out there. Beautifully done today.

And already the first horse fall, at an open corner for the Irish rider. I hope we don’t see too many of these incidents.

yes, already we see why that type of fence needs to be abolished from courses. That horse wasn’t looking too good after.

I expect more crashes at this fence, to be frank - the whole complex is incredibly unforgiving.

DAMN this (again :frowning: ), thanks for the PM Synthesis but I’m not able to figure out how to get this unblocker thing

I’ve got it on NBC (knock on wood).

Did anyone see what happened to Ireland? I looked up from COTH and he was on the ground. Everyone appeared fine though.

I knew I didn’t like the looks of that open corner combo.

who is the course designer?

and another one lucky at that combo. Wonder if the crowd is making so the horses don’t want to jump into that forward.

His horse didn’t read the hind rail and stifled it hard, then flipped over. Both walked away, the horse was hurt.

another horse had a very bad spot to the corner but was smart enough to run out
