Yes, the COTH article was quite helpful in understanding the whole process, which is rather confusing. Scores carry over towards individual placings, but not towards team placings, they just help qualify a team today towards rounds Tuesday and Wednesday. Top 35 come back to jump for individual medals with a clean slate.
That is a lot of jumping over the course of the week for those that make it through to the individual rounds.

Horse exceedingly honest. I guess the rider felt compelled to complete because it’s not like a regular show where there’s another class you can go in. Especially since it was so close to the end.
I am in love with the Brazilian horse - so scopey and one of the prettiest liver chestnuts I’ve seen. Great ride.

So why no Palloubet d’halong for the Qatari riders? I figured the Olympics would have been the goal with a $15 million horse. I know Bassem had the ride at one point but I actually haven’t seen the horse in any other shows recently.
So, two Ukranian riders are E’d. Does that mean the team is out of the team competition, since they did not field 3 scores?
