in stark contrast to the cool Brazilian eventer who helped rebuild the fence after he was tossed over it while his horse was quietly touring the ring at a nice canter on its own.

The groom with the halter was actually the intrepid ringmaster, Pedro! He’s become very famous for doing ringmaster-ing at Olympics, World Cup events, etc etc etc. Wonderful guy and horse person, plus he usually wears hilarious country-specific costumes to events. He wasn’t allowed to for this Olympics though… but it didn’t keep him from wearing some groovy sunglasses on Sunday. Just a fun tidbit for those watching
