Olympic Television Coverage

Just checked NBC Live Stream Schedule for the NYC

area (EST) and the according to schedule you can catch some of the Eventing Dressage this evening starting at 6:30 p.m. WHich means it’s 6:30 am the next day in HK. I believe Mark Todd is the first to go. I am still confused because then they have 2 sessions of dressage Saturday (7:15am-10:40am and 6:30pm 9:55pm EST) So does that mean Saturday’s feed is just a repeat of the Fridays? Not even sure my pc at home is going to be able to use Sliverlight…At work it does ; )

I just got it with a small upgrade with my Dish network account… Infact I got all thie things I want. Even BBC and Bravo and Animal planet.
But alot of it was a free upgrade on their part.
My Oxygen channel here in MD isn’t carrying ANY of the olympic stuff… you guys are lucky! i am going 2 be the one sitting at the DVR going through HOURS on end…

How can it not carry them?

It is a network? I know you must have checked, but it is listed on mine. How can it not be in Md?
Is there to be two days of x-c?

Scheduals are confusing because

they for the first time are listing the live streaming times. That is where they are overlapping. I would imagine the live streaming will be uninterrupted per event. But I am not sure even if you have high speed computer that you can capture it. I saw a list somewhere that there were going to be two sessions of x-c but now I cannot find it again!
To the poster with Direct tv: didn’t you get a dvr with your package? I though everyone with a dish got a dvr. I have the Dish. Good luck to all! That is to all of us at home trying to watch!

Just saw in my Entertainment Weekly (in a section about six Olympic sports you might not watch, but should) that USA will be airing Team Dressage on Sat. 8/9 from 2am -2pm. Thought this would be of interest to the eventers on this forum!
Is that eastern time?

I get the military time, understand it and appreciate it. But, um … is that MT in your time zone or mine? In other words, where are you in relation to the West Coast, because then wouldn’t my MT change?

Memo to self: Sign up for NBC’s email alerts to make sure I don’t miss the online coverage.

I’m completely with Findeight on this. Been there done that! I’m not Tivo’ing. I’ll follow along on COTH and anything awesome will end up on You tube anyway.

Dressage on USA now!

Christina Cook from Gr. Britian on USA network!

Streaming Schedule

The times I put in the video streaming schedule are all Eastern Daylight Saving Time. I got all of them from the schedule on the NBC Olympics website. I’m not sure why you are seeing ‘MT’. I’m guessing you are on mountain time. I’m on the East Coast.

The commentators on CBC Bold (while broadcasting the first 2 of 3 parts dressage for the eventers) have been saying that they will broadcast every horse that steps foot in the ring.

Someone has posted the broadcast schedule on page 1 of this thread.

Add Nat Geo so I can watch the Dog Whisperer and those are my most watched channels!

start times?

Are the start times listed anyplace ?

Did anybody tape her ride? I’ll pay you for a copy! Honestly! (I have two foals by the same stallion. I really, really would like to get a tape of his test. Did I say “really, really”? I meant “REALLY.”)
