I think the on-off method with composites is the best of both worlds. Allows some protection and grip for big competitions, but doesn’t stay on long enough to cause long-term effects. I hope more upper level riders head this route!
Nooooo.
Where are John and Lucinda.
Literally
Ugh, MST is commentating the finals on Peacock?
My reaction exactly!!
no commentary at all on CBCsports.
I can only hear the live announcer.
eta. Lucinda just joined us.
That rose window jump!!! So stunning.
Ugh where are Lucinda and Jon??? Why do they keep doing this for the finals?
I was up at 5.00 am this morning because I completely missed that it started at 8.00 EST this morning.
Who are the commentators on Peacock?
Genuinely think SJ is one horse sport where the barefoot approach has clear advantages if your horse can do it… we may be talking fine margins but less weight on the feet makes picking them up easier and puts less force behind a toe tap on a rail. And of course less risk of harming a foot or leg by catching and wrenching a shoe off or striking into themselves… i can definitely see how it would work.
Melanie Smith Taylor; the man I’m not sure but he does not sound horsey
Oh King Edward that’s not like you. A tiny touch…
Well I guess I’m the only one who is happy not to have Lucinda. She just blabbed a bunch of nonsense. At least MST knows show jumping.
Well done Simon getting over that fence!! I was scared for a moment! But time…
Blimey look how hard they were both trying in that slo mo!
I am catching up this morning on last nights qualifier. Just wanted to say that Karl had a lovely ride, such soft hands. and that Mare is a spitfire. Lots of heart from her.
Ilex has lots of power but man hes slow. Karl’s horse and Laura’s horse are a little more efficient on the course. Can Ilex gallop around the course if need be and not take rails?
Good start for France!!
I really got the impression last night that Mclain was playing it safe with Ilex and trying to save his energy for today & the individual, hence being slow.
I am really loving the coverage on Peacock. The camera work is great.
Oh no the last. Was a lovely round there…
