Was the guy who fell off at the water jump today the only person who has fallen off in the show jumping all week? I have not been able to watch all the rounds, but heâs the only one I remember.
If so, that is certainly better than a lot of other Olympics.

Looked like a miscommunication on which direction they were turning. Definitely going back to watch again.

Without watching the replay to confirm it, it looked like the horse made such a big effort over the previous few jumps that the rider was a bit off balance, so when they had a little miscommunication about which way to turn, and the horse ended up with the timer in his path, the rider just could not stick with him. That was crazy.
I mean, it would be crazy enough to see it happen to a kid on a pony jumper, never mind one of the best riders in the world at the Olympics.
