Mine do that all the time. Isn’t it amazing how fast they can right themselves when startled? It’s like they do a flip in the air and land on their feet.

I’ve had corgis for most of my life. I have one now, Reese, and she is too smart for her own good. She thinks she is my assistant trainer and must help if the ponies are going too slow or if a horse stops at a jump.
At the moment she is upside down on the sofa after a busy day at the barn.

the reason why I took pictures (as opposed to chasing after him with a bottle of shampoo) was because we were at an A show with immaculately groomed grass on the hill next to the rings. Such pictures of corgi-rolling at home/barn do not exist because they come with cursing and shampoo chasing (along with me being late to wherever because the ONLY time he does it is when I don’t really have time to bathe him!)

My roommates call my two “The grossest dogs in the world” I would argue except… they think that a fresh pile o’chicken poop is a delicacy, mud puddles are for wallowing and this morning I had to remove Whiskey from the fresh cat pee dirt she was trying to roll on. Corgis- pig shaped for a reason.

Loves my Corgi-Porgi-Punkin-Pie (not her real name, just an alias) who was adopted from the shelter as a scrawny cardigan pup and has blossomed into the smartest tubby dog around! She cannot do anything that doesn’t make me laugh and has even “howled” at me on occasion. My first Corgi, but not my last!

I was going with:
Once you go corgi, you’re hearing is never the same, from the constant, incessant barking.
Once you go corgi, you never walk the same from tearing your acl while tripping over the furry little speedbumps who are always underfoot.
Once you go corgi you get used to the bottoms of your pants always being torn from the constant ankle nipping.
I’ve lived with corgis owned by family and roomates. It is honestly the last breed of dog I would ever own, lol. But glad you all love them!

LOL. Well, mine don’t bark all that much and the ankle biting really is pretty much non-existant. But… they are definitely furry, speed-bump, tripping hazards. I joke all the time that I need this mug:

Hubby says he is a-ok with having at least 3 (plus one lab) lol. Labby is still a puppy so next corgi pup will be awhile away, but still can’t wait for the day I’m greeted at the door by a herd of corgis!!
Edited to add: Mine also doesn’t bark that much (only when someone knocks/rings the doorbell or if there is a squirrel in the backyard. I also don’t think I’ve ever had her nip my ankles. Tripping hazard… well yes, but I seem to have this issue with all breeds.

Love my girl Sasha Belle. She is a riot - a real little clown. Friends call her either “the Little General” or “the Queen Mum”.
Yes, she is obese - one of our excercise riders was feeding her hostess donuts and I didn’t realize until she blew right up. Checked her thyroid and everything before I caught him. Now I just can’t seem to get the weight off of her, even though she is very active.

This is a perfect explanation of my two corgis. Perfect example is one day, I took them out for a long walk in the hay fields and Tigger was madly running and smelling everything and had no intentions of stopping anytime soon. After about 30 minutes, Molly just started to head back to the barn and her spot in front of the fan. I called her and called her (she normally is attached to my side), halfway to the barn she paused, looked over her shoulder at me, and continued to head back to the barn! And it endeared her to me all the more.
When the corgi won the dog vs cat contentst on gawker.comSomeone commented that they thought they were weird dogs because they were big long dogs in little dog legs…a juxtaposition like an el camino (half truck half car). Or maybe, they are a mullet hairdo- party in the back, all busines in the front! :lol:
My friend got me hooked when she got a corgi puppy. she is so adorable. She found a corgi rescue ( a tri) for me that needed a home and Molly proved herself to be the perfect dog, a total dog to go. Which convinced me that I needed TWO corgis. I got another rescue (a red/white). I have shoveled so much money into Tigger trying to train him and get him healthy. He’s spoiled rotten, totally naughty, and completely irresistible.
I am obsessed with these dogs…if you can’t tell!

My latest dog is not a corgi, but that’s because it would be really hard to make a corgi in to a service dog for all the above reasons. I can’t really wait for a corgi to decide if I really meant I needed help now or not. 
The Tribble is a sable Pembroke. She was my 40th birthday present to myself, and seven years later I still wonder what the hell I was doing. She is SO obnoxious! Being cute is the only thing that saves her! :D:D:D
I love her but I don’t think I’d ever get another one.
I am allergic to dogs, especially bad to some, like short guard hairs and lots of down, like corgis.
A friend got a corgi, then a second one and I could not walk in his house any more without sneezing and my eyes swelling shut and he kept a very clean house.
Same with some sporting dogs and GSD.
Corgis are top shedders, as are ACD’s, both some of my favorite breeds I can’t have.:no:
