Tonight was a massive success. Feeding times are being done right next to us. Little Elsa has ways been carefree and calm, my boy Walker wants so badly to trust and the two itty bitties are a no go… until tonight!
Got my hands on Walker, although not long scratches it was a victory. The two littles were eating at our feet. Little victories to end the evening!

This morning I was able to just put my hands on the two littles faces while they ate. I need to get the halter off of Mo now that we are done with vet visits but I’m attempting to do it without a quick grab. I think in the next day or so I’ll be able to unclip it

I remember that one! It actually reminded me of Cheers first, when Carla is married to the hockey player named Eddie whose real name is actually Guy.

I think grey as well… hoping for a magical color change because my friend is banking on a dun or grulla. I’m convinced grey… so how do I ease the pain of wanting a dun or grulla?

Sweet Mo has his halter off 
he is ridiculously cute and sassy. Got his first spanking today as he turned his hips on me like he did with his siblings. I don’t think he’ll be doing that again
Maple now lets me swat flies from around her eyes. I can’t let her yet but she does see the benefit of my hand when it comes to flies!
Also got a fly mask on Elsa… I made her wear it like a bra until she was comfortable with a foreign object and then she calmly let me put it on. She has an incredible mind. Reminds me of Kinda Kookys boy pre vet experience. Just very open and willing.
Those are my victories for the day!

Unfortunately I’d say you’re tough out of luck unless that is the oddest looking first shed by a grulla. Usually they look almost black because the first shed is the darkest. The most off the cuff guess I’d take is an extreme case of roan, since they can often go really light, but normally not that much on the face. Odds are very much in your favour of a maybe bay going grey.

Yeah, it’s a gray. But hey, maybe it’ll be one of those mousey (and I mean this in a good way) grays where there’s a lot of brown in the beginning. So it’ll look sort of like a malted milk shake as the white hair comes in.

@jvanrens I’m convinced she’s grey BUT she’s adorable so she has that in her favor I personally like greys so I’m not phased at all!
@Paint_Party I agree… she does have bits of brown within the grey but the grey gene is strong with this one! Once she loses that coat, I think she’ll be adorable!
Also… does anyone have a fly mask recommendation? These masks were for mini ponies, I sewed them in and they are still huge better than the flies nibbling their eyes but they are huge.

I might wake up in a couple days knowing what color the little sprout is.

Sad news for me 
turns out all the good karma in the world doesn’t have a redemption card. My sweet Aussie was attacked by my friends dog snapping his leg. He’s going to need a surgery that’ll be a little more than life expected.
I’m exploring the option of selling my sweet Jake to help cover the cost for my dog. One love for another I guess. There’s been quite a bit of interest in him and I don’t want to sell him to just anyone. My heart is so broken on so many levels today.
