She’s also back on Dreamhorse, for FAR less than he was asking last time. Reason given is that he doesn’t have time for her.

I wonder what happened to his “working student”?
Edited to add that I’m not being critical of the woman, I was under the impression that she was riding the horse and I wonder what happened.
Maybe she realized she needed to be a working student for someone who could teach her something other than how to attempt to shortcut your way to Grand Prix.

Oh, Okay, then! How transparent could the guy be? He gets so worked up when people call him out for his bs, but then doesn’t get that its because his BS is entirely obvious. If only he had been honest about this mare, and admit he’s afraid of her. Aieee.

My guess is that the student argued back, which would explain his diatribe on his “blog” about people who argue back to their trainer.
I personal opinion of this is that he dumped the horse. I just have a very sneaking suspicion that horse got taken to an auction. I sure do hope I am wrong.

Maybe her owner will decide to get out of riding altogether and be a maestro in some other (non-animal-related) endeavor. Like stamp-collecting.
Lots of people here on COTH have said they’d be interested in Carpathia if her price was anywhere near reasonable. Clearly asking a five-figure price was ridiculous. Even in the mid-four-figure range, my feeling is that she’s still over-priced but getting closer to reality. Anyone interested in her now?

He has an ad that states she is still 10 years old. DOB 2017 and another ad DOB 2018. 16.3H and weight goes from 1250 lbs, to 1400 lbs and latest 1500 lbs. I don’t see too many out of work TB’s in the 1500 lb. range. States he offers a one guarantee. If someone is interested take many test rides. I doubt he will stand by that guarantee. Once the cash is in hand you will never see or here from him again.

Can someone answer me this. I thought the reason you had a working student was for them to work with your horses in training. Like groom/tack-up/in-tack, cool out horses and stable chores. Then in exchange you got some lessons. He has no horses in training but needs a working student do…Don’t get it.

He’s local to me and posts a lot in our local facebook group. I sent the ad to a couple friends I felt would do well with a sweet horse and had the means to look into her lameness. The ad is already down… most of his posts I see are only up for about 12 hours or so. Not sure if he takes them down or they get modded.
The Carpathia horses I found on the pedigree website don’t match her.

Based on the videos this is a dead honest hunter type horse who he was diligently teaching to rear by trying to teach her half steps in hand. If he didn’t succeed, she likely is that safe and has dumped him a couple times because she’s had enough of his s**t.
