Our favorite dressage master's horse on a OTTB sale site

We should form a COTH syndicate, offer him a thousand bucks and have some brave, unknown to him, soul willing to put their finger on their nose for a pic act as the buyer. I’ve got pasture space for her and she’d never have to worry again.

Listen, I would join that syndicate. I would send him that picture, and I’d even have him come out and teach me a lesson, to be filmed by a friend. I offered once before to have a coth syndicate to back the riding lesson part. I’m local to him, and I’m down for both.

You guys crack me up, by the way.

Hahaha I’m local too - let me know if you need back up!

And we’re still waiting. In the meantime I never got an email back from the site where someone was trying to find the horse. And today he’s busy pontificating on the political reasons why Charlotte will win WEG even though Helen and Isabel are better riders. But not to worry, he thinks Charlotte is “doing a good job”. All that first name basis, I’m so jelly.

What a vinegar based feminine product application storage vessel he is.

OMG. Well, I don’t think any of us would disagree that it’s a lot easier to make an Olympic team in any equestrian discipline if you have the time and money to dedicate to the process. But I wonder how he accounts for Charlotte (working student) or Laura Graves, who while not “poor” were certainly not “trust fund babies.” Yeah, the money for the right trainer, the right horse, etc. is great (assuming you have the talent), but gee, NP, do I get a whiff of “sour grapes.”

Not so much in dressage, but I have seen a few expensive hunters carting the talentless around, and not winning anything. At the same time I have seen nice little, talented and dedicated riders taking far cheaper horses around for really nice rounds.

Riding is expensive, so sadly some talent will never get a chance to ride, that is the truth of it.

Blow hard, no talent, self untaught, shitty riders with HUGE egos and nothing to back it up would never have made Olympic standard…

One of the qualifications is being able to tell the difference between

I used to think he was just a regular, run-of-the-mill charlatan. I was wrong. He’s delusional, and bat sh!t crazy. I think he really believes he’s being persecuted because of breed bias and politics. He doesn’t understand that he couldn’t ride his way out of a two door elevator.

And I wish he would get his hands out of his crotch.

And he’s whining that his parents wouldn’t buy him the GP schoolmaster while simultaneously slamming those who bought GP schoolmasters ??? The logical disconnects are worse than an Escher drawing.

And then parents bought good old Chevy when he was 16. Dude, get a grip. I bought my first horse with money I earned and saved myself when I was 11.

Regarding the extended trot picture “extended not” in post 67, here is NP’s take on it:

“In this picture you can see my extended trot during a 4th Level test. The judge was exposed and reprimanded by The USEF for his bias and later bragging on Facebook how he gave me terrible marks. He gave this movement a 3 when it should have been a 5/6. She extended properly, I’m soft and steady in my position and she is nicely forward, as both front legs off the ground indicates.”

I also could totally go to the Olympics, but am choosing not to.

Oh, my. He’s summing up superlatives for himself. Deep in conversation…Its the master expounding before an accolyte, in his mind, who adores him and wants to see him go to the Olympics but his wisdom, his humility, which he describes and gives examples of, in case you just don’t get how 'umble and how much ego he DOESN’T have, and oh that experience pounded out on his keyboard for the internet, year after year, has all taught him it’s so not necessary to aspire to the olympics.

He makes such a fool of himself going on and on about how CD bought her way to the winners’ circles. Does he have absolutely no clue that Charlotte was Hester’s working student? She had no money, and shoveled stalls to earn her lessons. Something Nick Peronace refuses to do.

Videos on Facebook work the same way. If you post one comment about a riders poor seat or heavy hand, you’ll get labeled a cyberbully.

That is exactly what you do Mr Maestro, is anyone points out your errr short comings in the saddle, you immediately cry cyber bully.

BUT

Just think how GOOD he must be feeling tonight, at last the world is noticing him again, and it’s all about ratings, doesn’t matter if everyone calls you an idiot, they are taking notice, and that is all that matters…

I like the part about how renting a schoolmaster is “shoddy and garbage”. Anyone remember the ad he place a few months back wanting to borrow a Grand Prix horse? LOL

I could totally have been a Formula One driver if my parents had gotten me a Ferrari when I was 16. But noooo, I got a Honda Accord instead. Le sigh.
