Painter's Jump

I want to see different photos of that amazing painters jump they have in the SJ ring. Anybody?

have only seen the one on COTH from behind the hand. I have to wonder what the horses think and how they react to the mannequin

It’s a gorgeous jump. However if my horse was jumping it she’d stop at it 95% of the time. But the course is meant to be distracting and difficult and they’ve definitely achieved that I think.

This jump is also rather cool: http://www.chronofhorse.com/sites/default/files/14WEGJane_Richard_PhillipsDSC_3152Day2.jpg

the link Peggy posted is the only one I have seen of the painters jump

The Bayeaux Tapestry wall is spectacular. I hope other designers follow suit in the future. A brilliant idea for a wall and it makes a fantastic photo.

I loved this Bayeux Tapestry wall! I’m not sure whether that or the Painter’s Palette were my favorite. Those fences are just gorgeous!

[/B]?I think the painter’s jump is so original!!

yikes I didnt notice the statue on the tapestry wall.

I think the fills are as fabulous as the walls

The rooster is fantastic

I only caught a glimpse of the painters jump at first and I thought it was chop sticks

Me too!!

all the jumps are insane. I can’t even imagine how much each one cost to produce…

I agree about the painter jump It is fabulous! What I found the coolest was the statue? or recreation of Mont St. Michele. That was the coolest ever. And the wall is pretty amazing.

I can’t even imagine how much those jumps cost to produce and how much of a pain in the butt they are to set in the course! In other news, I want to be Penelope Leprevost when I grow up, kthanks.

In the last photo of that set, the course designer reminds me so very much of Anthony Hopkins in International Velvet.

Dontcha just love it that on the “painter” jump the hand holding the brushes is a leftie? How cool is that!

This course has to go down as THE most imaginative of all time. Up until now I thought that 1988 Olympics in Seoul was the most elaborate.

Were many horses fazed by them, that you saw?

Took me a second to realize that the “painter” sitting next to the jump is a dummy, or part of the jump. Amazing.
