Parelli have split

She was attempting to demonstrate a change of gait without he use of her reins. We all see how successful that was  .

Here is a mistake, a random broken bridle video (why on earth the man allows his horse to rub its head on its leg during competition is beyond me) that shows a reining horse guided by seat and leg. Not a dressage exhibition, but a hell of a lot closer to one than that supposed “dressage exhibition” disaster put online by Parelli. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mswhpLuempw

Are you guys talking about that Elvis horse? I’m looking but don’t see anything, he looks like a typical on the forehand QH trotting on sloping ground. Maybe you guys are seeing where he steps where the ground dips down then back up?

Not saying he isn’t lame, I’m just trying to see what you guys see. Definitely not worth anything close to what they are asking, but he looks like a pretty average moving QH.

Ehhhh maybe he’s just horribly unbalanced in the first one, but look at the 2nd video at the canter.

I looked at your link and their site. Flashy, pretty horses at high prices. Many around 4-5 years old and described as very broke. The better trainers I’ve known always wanted their beginners to buy horses whose age is in the double digits, not their price tag.

This horse looks odd.

Out here in So Cal you can hear the “new money” bragging about how much they just spent on a horse. They’re always talking about how much they spend on anything.

Sorry if this is posted twice. I received a message that my post was marked as spam so I’m trying again.

I’ve always wondered who buys these expensive horses. The people I know who show usually spend between 15 - 25k on a well trained horse (local showing). I spent 6k on my trail horse with papers, champagne palomino, basic training, loves to go on the trail and was 9 years old when I bought her.

That horse you posted the link to just looks over fed in the profile picture to me. He also goes back to Alejos Mr 81 on his dams side like my mare in my avatar does. You don’t see that ne up close in too many pedigree anymore! He looks like he’s bred to be a good solid ranch horse.

The tea is being spilled:

Linda’s Side to the Story

We all know there are three sides to every story Pat is lucky I have kept my mouth shut until now, but I feel forced to break my respectful silence. It’s a shame Pat decided to bad mouth not only me but Andrew and Sue to the entire group of Parelli Professionals in the instructor update yesterday. They removed me from the email list and now I see why. I have no interest in a mud-slinging contest, but I am not going to stand by and see the lies and propaganda perpetuated throughout the community.

Fact:

I discovered Pat was having an affair in December 2019. I was shocked and hurt that the man I had devoted my life to would do this to me, but I really should not have been surprised given his negligent and subversive behavior over the years.

For a few months we actually became closer, but he could not change his behavior and in July he suddenly said he didn’t want to work on the marriage, but he wanted me to stay in the business. I told him then that I could no longer be in business with him.

I cannot be in business with a man who has betrayed me. I have not been paid in over three years yet continued to innovate and produce 90% of the educational materials.

Fact:

In July, I gave Pat and his team the opportunity to make a smooth transition, but they chose to lie to instructors and students instead, telling them I was staying in PNH. Pat, Ryan, and Tina tried to make me resign my position on the Board and let Ryan and Tina run the business. They are not capable of running the company and I told Pat that in June when he wanted to promote them but of course my opinion didn’t matter and has not mattered for years.

They kept trying to persuade, cajole me, and even threatened me with bankruptcy while also pretending to the community that nothing was wrong.

Despite what Pat claims about being blindsided by my decision to leave PNH, he has known this since July. I have multiple emails and texts sent to him, Ryan, and Tina in July, Aug, September, October, and November asking them to cancel my courses and not to take any money as I am leaving the company. Still, they keep lying to people about this, have not contacted the students who are enrolled, and when some have asked for their money back they have been told that the courses are not canceled and they only took the courses off the website while Linda decides whether or not she is going to teach them. And, they only took my courses down from the website recently when I threatened to contact the students myself.

If Pat, Ryan or Tina continue to not tell the truth I will publish all the emails and texts that I am preparing for my lawyer.

I have made Pat seven different very reasonable offers to get me out of PNH. Now it’s gone to lawyers he will discover just how reasonable they were. He has made only two offers which were an insult to me, given what I have contributed to him and this business for 30 years.

I even offered to buy Pat out but got no response, and last week Ryan offered to buy each of us out, but Pat declined, and Ryan did not want to co-own the business with Pat.

The business has been mismanaged for years and my many proposals to improve it were dismissed by Pat and not even discussed. He does not want me talking with instructors, tells distributors, staff, and students not to tell me things, and has gone behind my back repeatedly.

At the same time, they threaten me that I will lose my horses because they are owned by the company.

As for Pat’s defamation of Paul “Andrew Wood” Flockhart (which is his full legal name) and his wife, Sue, who were close friends to both of us prior to the divorce, all I can say is Andrew did more to help Parelli than anyone. He revolutionized the Savvy Club back in 2010. That added over 2,000 members and a substantial increase in revenue. But Mark fired him (PNH still owes him $28,000) because, among other things, he pointed out the problems that we needed to fix or the company was going to suffer. He was right.

Still out of loyalty to Pat and me, when asked he generously came back again to help in 2015 and I assured him that Mark would stay out of the picture. Unfortunately, that did not happen and that was the day I stepped back from my management role. The values and principles this company was founded on were not being upheld by my partners.

In the instructor update, Pat’s comments about Andrew being a self-proclaimed marketing legend is ridiculous and obviously designed to denigrate him in your eyes. You only have to look at the 43 books he has written, his performance of PNH in 2010, and the astonishing growth of Happy Horse Happy Life to see the truth and I have never worked with a more truthful and dedicated person.

They go on to refer to our mentor program with total inaccuracy. There were so many pre and current Parelli Professionals that were asking for one so we finally did that. And my curriculum is not at all like the Levels Program that I love and spent years developing. Pat is proud that ex-instructors are teaching the program, yet has been the main reason they all left!

When Pat decided he wanted to live a different life and to not work on our marriage I was left in a terrible position - no income, all our money invested in a poorly managed business, and no settlement in sight, what did they expect me to do? Sit around and hope these inexperienced, so-called CEOs could pull it together? No way. I had told them I was going out on my own back in July and given their hostile behavior I did not feel safe sharing my plans for the future with any of them.

I am creating an amazing new curriculum from scratch using my 30 years of experience and bringing in other experts who were never allowed to shine at PNH.

I could continue to refute the misinformation in his update for pages, but I’ll leave it there for now and let my lawyer handle it. I have had no real say in what went on at Parelli for years, Ryan and Tina even removed me as an admin from my own Linda Parelli Fan Page (after stealing and changing my passwords) and they delete any posts they don’t like, even from FB pages PNH doesn’t own. Head to the Happy Horse Happy Life Facebook page if you want the real story and I am truly grateful for the love and support from instructors and students who know the truth and can see through this shameful attack.

Point of information–didn’t Linda first become involved with PP when he was still in his previous marriage? And now she’s shocked and hurt he cheated on her?

I have heard that, before Linda, Pat had a modest but successful horse training business. But that it was Linda’s marketing that made it into the cult phenomena that it is today.

Is that right? Linda knows high-level marketing, Pat does not?

If it is, I think that 5 years from now that Linda will be doing well and Pat will be a much smaller business. That is, everyone will follow their natural inclination with the business. Including in their hiring of marketing help.

And each of them will probably ride and handle horses much the same as they do now.

Just my guess.

So … check out the highest, most exclusive membership level in the “Happy Horse Happy Life” website … scroll alllll the way down to almost the bottom of the page …

$499/month “Mastermind Membership” - Limited to 24 people - “This is Linda’s Elite Training Program!” You can read the special bene’s included.

$499 x 24 = $11,976 cash inflow per month, if it fills, and if they all pay their plan

And overall for her program, she says,

Happy Horse Happy Life is easily the most intimate access you’ll ever have to Linda Parelli!

Emotional appeal to open up wallets. The $499/month is for people who believe they will get - what? A perfect horse experience? A better life? And they can buy it, whatever “it” is?

Linda has moved on already, whatever disputes are still raging with PNH.

Pat’s first wife clearly follows (and I think is friends with!) Linda on Facebook. She had this to say about Pat (On Linda’s post):

"excuse me… where was I back then? oh I remember a son with brain issues, a daughter on her birthday when her dad drove out the driveway to go pick up the new one… 1993. "

Wine. I need wine.

In her case it’s pronounced dressidge.
And it won’t make you want to tear your hair out. It will make you want to poke your eyes out.

Soooo, now we know who’s to blame for that insipidly named “Savvy Club”.

Seriously, the Parellis made me hate that word.

Her marriage and business enterprise just fell apart. Which makes it all the more amusing that, for $499 a month, she’ll give you life coaching advice…

I knew that guy Ryan when he lived around here, rode with he and his wife a couple of times. Both of them were rank beginners - he was a little better than her and she was very timid. I knew they had gone to work for the Parellis, this is like 20 years ago. Ryan had a different wife at the time, not the one named here. I guess he’s following in PP’s footsteps; dump one wife, find another.
