Reading through all the comments on the recent “three sides” posts, it is pretty clear that:

• The writing was on the wall for years.

• Pat is widely considered to be very, very unpleasant to work for - many ex-instructors have now commented on his derogatory behaviour towards staff, his wife, and female students / instructors who he didn’t like (rebuffed him?).

• The business is being run into the ground.

The thought occurred to me that perhaps we are seeing the reason behind why Linda tooled up Barney the way she did - monkey see, monkey do. When your mentor/husband has a habit of tooling up horses behind the barn, you might just one day adopt that behaviour when your own knowledge runs out. I work with DV perpetrators, and it’s often the same pattern: “treat the wife like my dad treated my mum (even if I consciously hated my father for doing it).”

Then that’s interesting because the other guys name was Ryan and that’s not a very common name. Weird. No, would be well over 29.

Yes and Linda knew this and why she is sooooo surprised that he had an affair on her I don’t get. Did she really think that he wasn’t going to do it again? I mean if they did it to get to you, they’ll do it again to get to the next little piece. I never understood that kind of thinking and really never got why so many women were so enthralled by him.

I doubt COTH suddenly decided to sell your email address and I even more doubt that LP dug thru people’s information to get their email addresses.

Why not ask @Moderator_1 if you think COTH gave out your email address?

Was surprised (and amused) to see it.
That video of her whacking the snot out of (and being clearly intimidated by) the one-eyed horse was enough for me to be uninterested in any advice on training from her.
Not to mention her frequent ragging on people wearing helmets.
Somehow, I got put on the Savvy mailing list way back when it was in print, and somewhere around the house there is still a copy of one issue.
In it, LP makes noises about how “sorry” she felt for a woman at a stable where she did a layover while on the road because the woman was so scared of her horse she was wearing a “crash helmet” and if she would only come to the altar rail and embrace PNH, that would no longer be necessary.
Feh.

It must be coming from somewhere else because I haven’t gotten an email from her. I even checked my spam file. Apparently someone thinks that I am a man with sexual issues and others have naked pictures of my wife. Say what?

Ditto here. Right down the line - no Parelli email; man with sexual … and so on. Also that I want to meet sundry women named Sugar who can be over at my house in no time, just reply.

Also I am being threatened with exposure of the things I obsessively search for and look at pictures of on the internet. Someone is going to send it all to my friends and family if I don’t pay them some huge sum of money. It’s too late, my friends and family are already spammed with horse stuff from my Facebook. I don’t know what else they could be thinking of that I do obsessively on the internet.
