I don’t think that has to do with the Chevron reversal. And so I wonder if SCOTUS will hear the appeal…if it was the same issue then I would expect them to pass on hearing another case of the same nature.
As I learned with one of the other sports, they pretty much let the countries decide for themselves, and some countries just don’t?

Sarah is now running Calea Stables out of a farm in Leesburg where Mike Bertozzi had his old lesson barn. The farm isn’t owned by Sarah for the record, she “owns” the farm name of sorts.
Please parents/grandparents/guardians: be sure to ASK for proof of Safe Sport and do your due diligence (research) before sending your children to camp/lessons/horse shows with strangers.
There are plenty of good trainers out there who have background checks and no offenses with minors/DUIs/etc.

“A former champion polo player who was accused in a lawsuit this year of pressuring underaged girls into sex also has been criminally charged in Virginia with misdemeanor counts of having consensual sex with two juveniles over age 15, the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.”
“Long said no effort has been made to locate and arrest Gobin outside Virginia. Because of time-consuming logistical hurdles, he said, his office generally does not seek to extradite misdemeanor defendants unless they are relatively nearby in adjacent states. Gobin could be arrested if he returned to Virginia.”

The Loudoun Times Mirror (Loudoun County virginia newspaper) is allowing River Chase/Tom Navarro to be voted on for the Best of Loudoun in the Equestrian Facility category. For years they banned him from being eligible. Now they approve of him. Maybe the Editor of the paper needs to be made aware? Why is this ok? It’s disgusting.

370+ shares and 8000+ donated to his legal defense, when his green card was revoked for sex crimes against a minor. Defenses include “vindictive accusation” “racism” and “we are so short on farriers” - naturally its easier to believe the 13 year old girl was making it up than believe someone you’ve known could be a predator, but my god I thought we were past the finger pointing at CHILDREN. Local riding school shared it saying they needed to get him back… around kids…
