So sorry!! I too wish I had some video, because I know she was super adorable but now there’s no proof! The next one will be closer to home so I should be able to entice DH or a friend to come document the pony power.
I know I, for one, can’t wait! I always watching cute pony videos!
OMG!!! She is a little superstar!!!
I sent that video to the barn owner, who is itching to make more obstacles.
This is the best thread I have read in a long time! #powertothepony
Your pony is a rockstar! And pretty too. I want a pony!
Pony went foxhunting for the first time today!!
She was definitely excited but the worst things she did were jig rather than walk and try to pass the horse in front of us once when we were cantering. At the end she walked back to the trailers on a loose rein.
Before someone asks, I have no pictures–SORRY!!! I’m the worst. Next time, I hope.
You look awesome in your cubbing garb!!! I’m doing fun things with a pony vicariously through you!
You are so NOT selling that pony. You look great.
How unbelievably cute! And obviously talented! (Not to mention the skilled rider-trainer!)
I hope you continue to have fun with her.
Pony is adorable and those are amazing photos. Keep the pony!
I’m very happy to have this pony but I’m also sad that we aren’t a better match sizewise. I am still considering her a sales project only for that reason. Some kid or small adult is going to have so much fun with her!
P.S. Does anyone know how to make an 8-year-old pony into a horse? Supplements? Stretching machine? Anyone!?
P.P.S. I know, if there aren’t photos it didn’t happen. A couple teasers below and more in this album: https://qq0u.app.link/e/H4jOG5ecDR
Awww, look at the pony struggling round the course! Photos suggest that she is not at all worried by any mismatch of size! Yes she will make a great pony for a kid or small adult, but you also look good on her.
How about built up shoes to put some inches on her. :D:D:D
Re: size. Your leg looks perfect on her. If your were a less capable rider, I would worry about you weighting her front end, or over balancing. But look at your photos! Right in the middle of her, excellent equitation and pony jumping with a really cute front end and lots of room to spare.
William Fox-Pitt doesn’t sell that ones that are too small for him. :-). He just rides and wins anyway.
That pony doesn’t look too small under you at all…
It’s a keeper… Nice little horse.
Thanks for the kind words and encouragement, guys! I’ve actually been horse shopping but after reflecting on how much fun I had with her at the horse trial and looking at those super-cool photos, I’ve been thinking that maybe I will keep the pony after all…at least until she is maxed out or I’m not having fun anymore. I wasn’t planning on trying to sell until spring so I don’t have to decide anything now anyway.
@rockymouse may have called it…
PONY! Awesome photos. You definitely need to keep the pony! Just adorable and looks so pleased to be doing this!
that sure is a nice looking saddle, too! Hahaha
…as I predicted on post #8!
She is very cute and you look just fine on her. Always remember this stuff is supposed to be fun, so when you have a fun pony to ride, just go with it and don’t worry about what anyone might think (no eventers will think less of you).
The two of you are a great match. I don’t even notice any size issue. As already mentioned, WFP doesn’t worry about size and look at Mark Todd and Charisma!
You may never find another animal you enjoy eventing as much as this one, just have fun with her.
Keeper! Keeper! Keep her!
Y’all are great together.
No sell.
