Correct! The first owner named the pony for the faint brand, and the next owner used white shoe polish to make it more visible.
rode Devil’s River didn’t she? ANd maybe Center of Attention too?
Tracy Richardson rode Chardonnay
No it’s the same one. We called her BB and she was a chestnut roan with lots of chrome. I’m sure after she left NC she went on to bigger and better things. She was a great jumper and nice mover. And definetly a medium.

Wasn’t Short Stop also owned by Brookes and Street Moore?
These threads bring back wonderful memories. Now if I could just get my hands on some Chronicles from the early 70s I’d be a happy woman.

Jennifer Collins first showed Sabrina. She qualified for Devon as a green and was laying down the trip of her life when Jennifer winged at the last jump and chocolate chipped. I think Don Stewart was judging and he actually threw his clipboard in the air.

Yah, big bodied chestnut with a big blaze and some some stockings or something.
Katie Huber showed him when Susan Porter and Kevin Bruce owned him.
I still have my small pony, he was a grey Welsh gelding named Frosty. I do not know who had him before the previous owners and we got him as a pet for $400. He became my short stirrup pony and was just great, even at 20 years old he could do 2’3". I believe he had a show record before we got him, but I have no idea what his show name would have been. I also think he was a show pony because he was very cranky until we started showing him again and he became a doll.
Does anyone think it would help if I posted pictures? Maybe someone would recognize him??
