How is everyone doing? Thinking about all the Sept Girls due here shortly![/QUOTE]

I was just about to post the same inquiry last night, but was on my phone and the ads were covering the log in, so I gave up. I was in a nasty mood last night anyway. Basically throwing myself a pity party. I am so over this.

Heinekin should be about 40 weeks now. You, me, and Nick are pushing close to 38 weeks. Mscho already foaled, lucky girl.

It is sick for me to say that I am actually looking forward to labor? Today would be just perfect as it is the 106th birthday of my little one’s great grandfather and the man he’s named after. But alas, I don’t think it’s going to be anytime in the super near future… and that makes me want to cry.

akhunterrider - please be careful!
Rescurer - don’t feel bad. I cried over a birthday cake I didn’t get back in March.
Cabollogurl - I can’t imagine having 2 babies in there, my one kiddo does a fabulous job making me feel like I can’t breathe.

I think the hormones are in the air lol maybe it’s the moon phase? Felt sad/crappy last night as well, irritated at every little thing (particularly, my sweet husband who just wanted to cuddle, and my super protective dog who’s taken to patrolling the house at night and makes just enough noise to keep me up), in addition to not being able to get comfortable anywhere and being super tired…finally ran a bath and sat there feeling sorry for myself. 100% fine after my own little pity party

I’m right there with you dreaming! Beyond ready, not dilated at all…but I do think she’s dropped a little bit…fingers crossed!

Anxiously awaiting word from Heinekin!

Cabollogurl, total props to you…twins run heavy in my family, I made the nurse check about 8 times that there was only one in there! You win

Checking in…

I’m 37+2 today. 38 on Monday.

sigh.

I miss being me.

Good luck for all the September ladies!

I am 7 months along and am seriously starting to nest. Bought the nursery paint last weekend and the furniture has arrived. Were getting married in 2 weeks but I am almost more excited about the baby!

I also scored on a BOB revolution SE with a Britax BOB infant seat and attachments on Ebay for only $400. I cannot wait until I can start running again and feel like myself.

How soon would you start running with your child? Many recommend 6 months but that seems so long and that is without a carseat. I’m reading some people run at 6-8 weeks on smooth paths with the carseat and it works out really well. I don’t know if I can hold out for 6 months!

Almost there Nick!!! So exciting! Can’t wait to hear your report from ā€œthe other sideā€.

Has your doctor decided if you are being induced early?

I just ran into a gal over lunch who I met in birthing class. She’s being induced tomorrow at 39 weeks due to GD. I’m half jealous and half sad for her. She doesn’t want to be induced and on 9/11 too. But she really has no choice… it’s what’s best for the baby.

38 on Saturday…think I’ve read every Signs of Labor article there is…and convinced myself I’m experiencing half of them at one point or another lol

I hadn’t heard not to run with the baby, have to ask the Dr monday…cause as soon as I’m able I’m running (and riding!). Speaking of back to normal, anyone know anything about those girdle things? Kinda want to try one but whew they’re pricey!

pk- most dedicated runners I know started again as soon as they stopped bleeding. I waited longer because every time I went over 3km it felt like my uterus was going to fall out. Pelvic floor exercises are important!
I did run a half at 7months pp, but it wasn’t very speedy.
If you are worried about babes head/neck, you can roll a receiving blanket and put it around but over top of babes head and tuck the ends under the shoulders, that way the head stays straight and doesn’t tip side to side.

5 months with #2, I can’t wait to not be pregnant anymore! My hips hate me!

No decision. I was just at Dr yesterday and all was status quo. I’m officially full term so you know ā€œany day.ā€ Which feels more like ā€œany decadeā€ at this point.

That’s great news. I’m pretty much trying any ā€œold wive’s taleā€ idea of coaxing this little guy out. My DH doesn’t look at me lovingly recently. He looks at me with pity and frequently apologizes.

I’m sitting here in the waiting room of a physical therapy office waiting to be seen for my awful hip pain! I haven’t been able to sleep more than 4 hours a night in nearly a month. Hope all of you ā€œcloseā€ ladies are doing fine and have safe, healthy deliveries soon.
cant wait to read updates!!

I can’t stop PEE’ING at night. I get up 2 to 3 times a night to pee!!! I think this is prep for the soon to be sleep deprived… I am only 15 weeks, still have ways to go…

Went and checked out a day care that I loved last week. Holy moly is day care expensive. I knew going in that it was expensive, but until the prices were in front of me, I just didn’t fully believe it. Now I know, no one was kidding me… Full time, 5 days a week, day care in my area is running $1400 a month!!! Yikes! That is more than my board!!! What are you all paying or going to pay? I do know area, like board, does matter…

Girl, I’m up to pee about every hour now, so you have that to look forward to.

In our area 1300-1400 a month for full time daycare is the average, I think. My monthly MORTGAGE is hundreds less than that.

Ugh to the the hip pain. Mine is only still apparent when I lie down. But still. Ugh. I feel for you.

I ā€œsleepā€ in about one hour increments. Thats how long I can lay on one side before the searing hip pain sets in and I have to flip over. And rolling over is painful so I wake up. And then realize I have to pee. So then I have to actually get up. Rinse and Repeat. As I sit here typing, my eyelids are so heavy. I’m not physically tired, per say… but certainly sleepy.

I would give anything to only get up 2-3 times a night to pee. I probably got up 6-7 times last night, plus it takes forever to fall asleep, not to mention the effort involved in rolling over or getting comfortable again after I pee. So. Damn. Tired. I’m 31 weeks, so a couple more months of this.

Full time infant daycare is going to run me about $1000/mo in my area, but some of the really snazzy places are closer to $1200.

Baby daycare (I got to skip infant, mine went beginning at 12 months) was $895, but that’s on the cheaper side. They don’t supply food, and are in a rural location. My cousin is paying $1200, but that includes lunch and fruit and is right in the city.

We just got a price drop for hitting 19 months, down to $795.

I find that Snoogle pillow helped with hip pain, I slept kind of halfway between side and back with it. I have struggled with the hip pain too. I feel your pain…nearly there though!

Oh no, the peeing gets worse… UGH!!

I was lucky, I didn’t start waking up to pee until I was 7 months along, then it was only once. I’m at around 3 times a night now. And I think THAT is a total PITA. Can’t imagine more.

I’m 11 weeks and 5 days and I wake up 2 to 3 times a night. Not looking forward to the next several months if it just gets worse!
