Just a was thinking about this today, what are some things that you wish had a product for?
Something to store hay in at a boarding barn. Hay bags don’t work and are messy. Something simple to keep other boarder’s fingers out of your feed.
Fly spray that actually works against the huge yellow horse flies.
A way to get the last bit of grain out of the bin without standing on my head.
More time and a money tree would be nice.
Something to deal with gnats, mosquitoes, black flies, and those giant biting flies.
Something to transform a muddy pee spot the hay feeder throws hay on that doesn’t involve a broken manure rake and a sore shoulder.
Something so horsey can never hurt himself ever.
Something that would permanently kill the creeping charlie (ground ivy) and thistles invading my pasture. It’s like the war on terror. You never get them all so every couple of days, I’m out with the Crossbow attacking the weeds. The creeping charlie is especially bad this year.
A mud vacuum. Maybe heated fields?
A gadget that will fix electric fences from one point!
Something to keep the snakes from hiding under my hay.
Simple, inexpensive, door latches that will not ever have hardware that protrudes and cuts a horse. Sliding doors for the feed room and ends of barn that are strong, light weight and have hardware that never needs adjusting.
The perfect feeder
Fence repair made quick and easy OR fencing materials that never break or fail
Roomba mower for the pasture, self mows, one for the yard also
Roomba pasture manure vacuum
Tractors that are as easy to drive as my car, and implements that are simple and easy for one old not so strong person to hook up

Now this, I have:). I’m on the small side, so I had a frame built out of 2 x 4 wood that keeps the feed cans (metal garbage cans in my case) up off the ground several inches and at an angle. The added height, combined with the tilt of the cans, really helps me get that last bit out.
Also makes it very easy to sweep the floor under the cans, as I don’t have to wrestle them out of the way to clean up around them.

Lockers for every stall.
Some boarding barns have pictures of those yard closets for every client that could work for individual small feed rooms by each stall, or a row in a wide place in the aisle.
