PSA: Parlanti-esque TuffRider Sport Dress boots on sale at Dover for $99
I got sucked into these, wanted a pretty looking schooling boot-- they fell apart after two rides. Returned them for a new pair, same thing. Never again. I’ll stick with my Parlantis.
That’s a bummer for sure. Ours are going strong

same here
I’ve ridden in them for a whole week and I am super hard on anything I use and so far so good for me too! Got complimented on them as well!

Updates: These babies will not stay zipped while you ride. And then felt like I had something stabbing my ankle the entire time. Sadly, cant return because I purchased them from TOTD.

Proudly saying that I will be returning these. Only purchased because my old boots didn’t fit… lots 15 lbs and these are now too big for me.

They are super nice for the price tag and beat riding in half chaps, imo.

how much do they stretch? i can easily zip them up now and am on the smallest calf size.

Sad update on my boots- rode in them for the first time yesterday. 5 minutes in to my ride, the zipper fell down on the left boot. Went to pull it up, the pulltab broke :(. Then I was taking the boot off, and the heel cushion on the left boot came unstitched. Super upset! Right boot was perfect!! Contacted Dover last night, they are sending me a new pair by Thursday (props to Dover customer service!). Was going to wear them at a show Saturday. I hope the new pair is made better- my right boot is fine!

Even though these are not the most expensive/well-made boots, I did expect them to last longer than 5 minutes in to my ride… Now a bit unsure about the 2nd pair.

Wow that’s awful! I’m starting to think my indecisiveness about buying a pair was a good thing.

Mine lasted 10 rides or so. Didn’t think the quality of the boot merited fixing them.

The quality seems to be fairly inconsistent. Mine have lasted 60+(?) rides and a 3 mile hike over a fairly rough trail when my mare came up lame on a trail ride and I had to get off and walk her back to the trailer. The only thing that has failed is the leather tab on one of the zippers came off.
