FEITV

I thought it was good - its a bit hard to navigate and find the VOD videos you want to watch. In this world of instant satisfaction, they are a bit slow to get VOD’s up. I looked for Endurance VOD today and I couldn’t find it - its apparently not up yet. I haven’t been able to watch the live streaming yet, but the VOD works well. The commentator didn’t know squat about reining (he admitted it), but they got an expert in there to help explain things which helped me . Camera work is good, they do slow-mo play backs, good graphics, showed the medal ceramony, and they include interviews with some top riders - good stuff! Overall, I think they are doing a good job. :yes:

PS - FEI if you are listening - Chestnut is not a breed! Please fix for future dates. OH, and live scoring would be great if you could put a box up in the corner of the video.

Well, it depends, if you are interested in this sort of thing for future competitions, FEI might be a better deal, but I must say, I bought the NBC Universal, and am GOBSMACKED at the coverage! My niece has a BIG screen on her 'puter, and it is so wonderful. At first, I didn’t realise I could go full screen, and I thought it would be small, but I found the ‘screen enlarger’ amd guess what? Size matters!!!:lol:
It is so sad to see the nearly empty stands.

I dithered a bit, and finally went with the FEItv. Next week I’m going to be at work, and the USEF site will live stream the driving but FEItv will have the video on demand so I can watch the weekday competition in the evenings (probably not same day but I’ll otherwise miss it completely). Also, I have a friend who’d like to come over and see some of next week’s jumping competition.

FEItv is what USEF site is showing. It’s also awesome. Only quibble - wish the commentator wouldn’t speak over the announcer when the scores are being given out.

Yes, universalsports.com does have VOD, also. I didn’t go with them because they won’t have any of the driving. Also, someone somewhere mentioned that Kasperski Anti-Virus doesn’t play well with their premium website, and I have Kasperski so didn’t want to take a chance. So as long as you don’t want driving VOD and don’t use Kasperski, you’ll be good to go with either site.

I watched Universalsports.com for the Olympics and it was very good quality.

I set up an acct with feitv last pm and it won’t log me it, it just refreshes the page, what am i doing wrong? i am trying to log in from a different computer.

I had the same problem - if you go to the FAQ on FEItv under “having problems logging on” It has a way to fix it. If I remember correctly you go under your internet browser options - hit delete browsing history on exit - hit F5 and restart your browser - that is what worked for me:) Hope that helps…

Believe me, I understand your frustration - I was about to hurl my computer across the room! I also changed my password, not sure if I needed to but out of frustration before I found the fix above I did it anyway!

I got it going, sign in area showed up this morning and the orange (sign in) button is hidden but it worked, am I happy or what:lol:
