Someone looking for amateur friendly should take a look at Pepe. He’s been a pony horse for a year.
Hes a 2010 bay gelding, 16 hands by Harlans Holiday out of a Carson City mare.
Only $800!

The one I wanted was placed almost immediately. Which is good because as I mentioned on another thread, I just sold the one I bought last year because I have zero time for two horses!

of course I am biased, as FL will always have a place in my heart – but there are so many nice horses to choose from this year.
Speaking of FL “Graduates” – there is a mare, at FLAP, called “Get hot Stayhot” – if I had room in the inn she would be with me in a heartbeat. She is a really nice sport horse prospect, in my opinion.
There was also a Big Brown filly, Slammin Sami Brown, that caught my eye. The BB horses are SO nice - amateur friendly, sweet, and the total package usually in nice classy bay. Some r&r and she will be a lovely horse for someone.
Also, I do not think, for a nice LL event prospect, that they get much better than Eucalyptus.

What is FLAP?
Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program (their website is FLTAP). I’m no good at judging off track horses, but those two Beowulf posted were the ones that caught my eye as well. Someone from COTH needs to get them and keep us updated 
I loved these two 2 year olds; both now placed, Krafty Kate and Bagabunda.

Some of these horses need enabling. I hope someone steps up for Galway Girl, Texas Zip, Headshrinker and Pepe. Not upper level youngsters but older horses who’ve earned a chance at a second career.

There are still new horses being listed. And I suspect prices are getting very negotiable, too. There’s also a shipper making a run South, if that will seal the deal.

OP is not rich but she has always promoted these horses. Her horses lived and I think one is still living to very old ages. OP has done a great service to horses.
