I’m glad the horse that I was interested in placed. I really liked him, but really there was no way I could justify buying him.
I have to say I’m always a bit sad when I see all these racing horses from Finger Lakes and Canter that need homes.

What do you guys think of Chump Change? I should NOT have opened this thread…
I think there are several cute, smaller mares. Chump Change included. I think Beach Splash is a future Beginner Novice packer!! And Secret Eden is just gorgeous.
If I knew why Secret Eden only raced once this year and last year, I’d probably make a pretty rash decision about her!
18 starts and 1 win… sounds like she’s SLOW.
Oh yeah, that is fine. I just don’t love that almost all those starts were in 2017. Three this year and one the year before. Doesn’t that usually mean there was an injury? Obviously there’s an easy way for me to find out, but my current horse is giving me the business (not to mention some vet bills) and I just sold my lovely FLF horse from last year because I didn’t have time for two. Hopefully someone will text the trainer, find out it’s all kosher, and she will be beating me and my horse next summer!
Anyone have recommendations for good shippers from Finger Lakes to SC? SERIOUSLY tempted…

I always wished there were some Fingerlakes follow-up site so we could see where they ended up a year or so later. I can’t afford a horse anytime in the near future, but I do love looking.

I absolutely love Cosmo the Comet. What a beautiful horse. He looks very athletic. Can someone please go look at him, buy him, and fulfill my second hand dreams?
There are new photos of Chump Change and her stablemate Appian. Both are $1500 negotiable. I think both look like lovely girls ready to be someone’s for the holidays😇
I still really like Appian. I always like the ones they describe as ammy friendly, especially if their video shows them trotting quietly like this one’s does. Not going to happen this year though, sigh.
