Thanks, we do too!

<BLOCKQUOTE class=“ip-ubbcode-quote”><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>Quick question, though - is anyone having trouble printing pages 2 and 3? Every time I try, I lose the end of every line. Any ideas on how I migh be able to fix this? Thanks!<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Funny you should mention that. When I printed off page 1 (the only one I have done so far) I lost the first line of every page (11 pages)! Technical things w/ computers drive me nuts! Haven’t a clue what to do about this. Sorry

I hope I did an okay job starting to close the thing up! If anybody wants me to change any part, let me know! I just couldn’t leave it sitting there! Now its somebody else’s turn! Have fun!

Ben & Me: you can find the story on page 2 (as of this moment). It’s titled “Suffering Pines - The Beginning” and it’s 8 pages long.

Cheers, Maggi

If possible, would everyone who contributes to our bestseller please send me an email contact? I promise to only use it for contact about the story. EquiMom, way to go!

Kryswyn, this is a great idea!!! Thanks for the email, I’ve added a couple of paragraphs… with regard to the “rules” are we allowed to use real farms & characters (of course no slander or mention of anything unsavory even if it is true…)

Are you going to be in charge of monitoring The Over Active Imagination when he arrives? hehehehe <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Yes to both. Go for it!

[BThe great thing is that the places in the story will be held, and we could go back and completely rewrite something to smooth or set up something that was written later.

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE> I’ve never deleted a post in the middle of a thread, so I’m not sure if all you see afterwards is “deleted by …” or if the entire post disappears. If it’s the latter, and you choose to delete your addition, please leave a row of ******* there so if we need to fill in a detail, we have the place. Thanks! To echo what I’ve been getting in my emails, THIS IS TOO MUCH FUN!!!

Wow, I never considered making Fiona a villianess! I’d have thought she was too established as a solid “good guy”. I won’t say “no”, but… isn’t it funny how Roessell got a hold of “Miss Ford” in VIRGINIA so quickly? Maybe horses aren’t the only ones switching identities? Think of the confusion! Be sure you have a reason for your charactor’s actions; if you don’t sometimes they go off and find other things to do!LOL Keep it up this is great!!!

HA HA HA!!! <evil laugh> You guys thought you could kill off Coverall Man. Well, you CAN’T Cause there are dozens of them…They are the Borg of Suffering Pines! HA HA HA!

Sorry, couldn’t resist!

Hi Kryswyn,

My apologies for not helping out with the Suffering Pines story after you emailed me about it - but I had my wisdom teeth pulled last thursday just after you posted it, and have been out of commission since then - I don’t have a computer at home, so couldn’t contribute! (mind you, after all the pain killers, I’m not sure if you would have wanted me to write anything! LOL!

I will print the story out and read it through and see if I can jump in somehow.

Devildog-
We are waiting for your arrival!!

Awesome story everyone! I’m very impressed. I found it last night, and was hooked for a good 45 min-hour, my roommate was joking that I was more addicted that she is to General Hospital. Can’t wait for the next edition.

On a side note- Kryswyn, I’m so sorry for your loss. I can completely empathize, having unfortunately lost 2 horses recently. I do commend your creativity though, good job on the story.

Kryswyn, this is a great idea!!! Thanks for the email, I’ve added a couple of paragraphs… with regard to the “rules” are we allowed to use real farms & characters (of course no slander or mention of anything unsavory even if it is true…)

NEW RULE
If you create a character, you are responsible for maintaining that character or resolving it if no one else does.

ie. I have created Heath. I have a general idea of what I want him to accomplish in the story. YOU may play with Heath, but I will make sure he gets his (plot device) job done, if by some chance someone else doesn’t get him there first.

ANOTHER RULE
I am proclaiming myself “Queen of Suffering Pines”, responsible for keeping the story to it’s basic arc. If I feel that a post needs to be edited for story continuation, I’ll email you and ask you, respectfully, to make some suggested changes. Or I will act as “Deux Ex Machina” and write an explainatory post, “Jackie woke with a start. What could be causing these awful dreams?” if necessary, wiping out some actions that we want to include for their humor value, but don’t want to have to deal with in the real universe.

Go for it! Have fun, but be true to the characters and storyline.
