Really, Dressage Hub?

We have reviewed this thread and removed a large quantity of personal commentary/insults and responses related to them. It is fine to post experiences with or opinions of companies, websites, products, events, etc., within the industry, but please do so within our posting policies.

Discussion of business practices is fine; name calling is not, regardless of how deserved you feel it may be.

Thanks,

Its much more than “just drama”, she is doing damange to real people, she is a cheat and liar. Totally correct to notify people on here. If you don’t care to be part of this, don’t be. No one has to read the thread.

Agree, she doesn’t just go after the Florida people but anyone that dares defend them. In a now deleted post she said that she deliberately lifts photos and videos to see who she can get to bully her so she can retaliate. Which is a pretty messed up way of going about things. Let me see who I can upset so I can claim to be bullied and attack them so other people know I am not to be messed with. Multiple ammys have had their FB profiles posted, their videos stolen and edited to make them look bad, and blasted on Dressage Hub just because they decided to stick up for someone they believed to be innocent.

She has deleted multiple comments saying that Paula is not a superfan, and claims to win every copyright claim. She’s a bully and a thread like this lets people out there know what really goes on. If people didn’t speak up others would think that SJ actually taped a chain to the inside of her noseband.

The Paula video is down, says copyright claim. The Mane Event post is down or at least not visible on public page.

I do think however there is probably stuff on her private friends feed that is alternately made public and then taken back then reappears. However, like I said despite the entertainment value of being a train wreck spotter. I’m not about to friend this troll to find out.
On at least the public version of her personal website there is nothing openly hostile to individuals though the SJ posts remain on DHub. Presumably SW left the jurisdiction where SJ could take action. Presumably keeping SW out of Florida is a good enough outcome for the Americans!

Weirdly given our thoughts that there’s a tbi in the mix here, the DHub site has aa new link to something on concussion awareness.

Anyhow, it looks like local folks plus COTH have been able to rein in her most offensive online behaviors for now, at least on het pulblic postd, which is great.

I wouldnt worry too too much about her private friends feed, as despite however many likes she got in the past for repackaging FEI videos, her fb engagement is very low and also seems rsther random, not really horse world. I would however keep your screenshots for future reference. If anyone is still FB friends with her they might want to monitor. It’s possible there is libelous material up there. Or should I say there is liable to be libelous material up there?

I think enough has happened in her first week back to raise awareness so that she will not probably be able to victimize local trainers or the community as she did in Florida. She may continue to poach videos, bluster, and post insults about individuals. But I don’t think she will be able to convince anyone in the horse world to work with her.

So this thread has been successful!

I hope you are right, Scribbler. What she did with Paula’s video was pretty reprehensible.

Yes, at the risk of increasing her page view metrics, she does require a bit of monitoring because I doubt she has really changed, and who knows what she will have borrowed next.

I do think the right word for her at this point is troll. Not social media entrepreneur or FEI rider, armchair or otherwise, but just troll. Just out to get attention by annoying.

A huge issue, and why she keeps saying that she wins every time is that YouTube requires proof of a lawsuit if you file a copyright claim. Most normal people are not going to do that and she knows it.

What do you mean by lawsuit? I mean do you just need a lawyer on side, or do you need to pursue this in court and win?

I know you can submit a copyright claim of a video you think is yours. Then the uploader can file a dispute. Then you have 30 days to respond to that dispute. You tube has a system where they search their videos for a previously uploaded video by the person filing the dispute. If that video matches the one that is supposed to violate the copyright, the violator’s video is removed.

This information is available:

After we process your counter notification by forwarding it to the claimant, the claimant has 10 business days to provide us with evidence that they have initiated a court action to keep the content down. This time period is a requirement of copyright law, so please be patient.

Today she posted something about Lutz and his trainer, implying that they worked him when he was injured and caused him to be put down. She has absolutely no idea what she is talking about, and has bad mouthed that trainer before in the past. She is using a horrible situation and Lutz’s death to try to turn people against her. The trainer and owner of that horse went above and beyond in their care of him, and never would have worked him if he was even slightly off. Outright lies and disgusting behavior. How anyone could believe the crap that she spews is beyond me. Her unwarranted critiques of others only demonstrate her own insecurities. This is what she wrote:

“My heart goes out to Lutz the Halfinger who passed away recently, he won the hearts of many as the little pony that could. Unfortunately I do have to question why he was paraded around Wellington for the circus to the point of so much pain he could not recover, sadly the need to win is once again surpassing the welfare of the horse. https://tinyurl.com/mrndob7

WOW. Look fast on Dressage Hub at the multiple people calling her out for saying what she said, or questioning the horrific lameness her followers saw.

Lutz was the little haflinger pony that could in the dressage world. He won the hearts of many as he toured through Wellington this season. However, as I look through the posts after he recently had to be put down I cannot help but wonder if the intense pressure to compete and parade around as a circus pony winning things like Dressage Under the Stars and the Two Tempi challenge are not what eventually led him to need to be put down from laminitis which in most cases is a treatable or manageable disease in horses.

The only people who say these types of things are the ones who don’t understand the varying degrees a disease or unsoundness might take. Because they don’t actually know anything about horses. Sadly, this doesn’t stop them from talking.

He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not is a fool–shun him.

If she ever really wanted to demonstrate just how clueless she is about horses…mission accomplished. How many wonderful horses do you know who received the best of care and still lost the laminitis battle? I sure know a few.

Screenshot the comments calling her out quick because you know she is deleting as fast as she can

She absolutely is erasing comments as fast as she can. There were a lot more people speaking out against her and speaking up on behalf of the people that she is bashing. She has deleted numerous comments, but people are keeping track and screenshotting them.

The grief from the people close to Lutz is evident. Also notice who her friends are, it’s the same group of people she’s going after in Wellington.

So against my better judgement I went to her FB page and watched the video and now I’m confused. She claims the horse was being “paraded around” in pain at these two small exhibition events and that led to his being put down. Even though the horse’s FB page says he developed laminitis after these events, so how does she know or imagine he was in pain then? If she’s implying that training caused the laminitis, shouldn’t every horse showing in Wellington have it.

Never mind I can’t get over the sheer gall and insensitivity of someone who would use a horse’s death to (a) get revenge on yet another person she has a beef with and (b) drive traffic to her site. Never mind how classless her comments during the Dressage Under the Stars video are… “I hope she falls off” and “I’ll wake you up when it’s over.” I just can’t get beyond the huge leap of logic and credibility she’s making about the care the horse got and the owner and trainer’s actions. Clearly a nobody like SW wouldn’t be privy to these details, so where does she get off making up this stuff and posting it?

I skimmed all 17 pages (just skimmed) but am still totally at a loss as to what all this is about. Just as well because, as in the ML thread, it sounds like the inevitable COTH pile-on. There is never anything that is beneficial, thought provoking or educational in any of these.

I know I’ll get some nasty replies - so be it.

It is possible you are unable to understand the depth of the issue because the moderator has edited it, and some of the links are no longer working. Someone who steals video in order to harass and make fun of people, and/or damage their business is worth being called out.

Either you need to read it more closely or the mods have edited out the relevant details. Far from a “pile-on” this thread documents the long history of lies, stolen photos and videos, fraud, slander and relentless bullying by someone in the horse industry. I encourage you to read, rather than skim the thread, do some research on your own and check out the Facebook pages of some of her targets (Diane Creech, Susan Jacoma, Lutz the Haflinger and Suzanne Hamilton to name a few) before passing judgement.

So you admit to not even reading the thread and having no idea what it’s about but want to judge. OK. I guess you deserve the comments you are going to get.

There is plenty of information chronicling this person’s long pursuit of anyone that upsets her. Including stealing the videos of disabled riders and urging her followers to harshly critique them, deleting the comments of anyone that protests, attacking innocent professionals, and suggesting levels of abuse and neglect that don’t exist because the people involved know people she doesn’t like.

Since she has made it her mission to ruin the lives and careers of pretty much anyone that rides on the Canadian team you might be interested.
