Are there comments on the YouTube videos? Everytime I’ve looked there don’t seem to be any.
I should have been clear. The gossip, i spoke of, is where SW posts a “moment in time” (hand picked to show horse and/or rider at their worst) and asks for opinions. When I used to read the content…armchair experts naively gave such terrible “reviews” which were based on that one photo. Speaking about things that had not been confirmed. Again, I can only think that they are jealous and unhappy. A reasonable thought, would be “that’s probably not how they usually look or they wouldn’t be there.”
I think people like to be asked their opinion, no matter how qualified they are to provide any comments. FB allows them to have a voice, and yes this extreme photo - how can you NOT make a negitive comment? I would… I casually wonder if Susan deletes any positive comments, at this point I would not assume anything.
It’s scary how someone can be so free to steal, lie, and there is no real moderation on youtube and FB. This is a HUGE reason, ok the only reason, I don’t share anything on any site! Scary.
She deletes any comments that don’t agree with her
Oh I see she’s left a few… someone posts that she puts these photos up to drive traffic to her page to make her money, to which DH replies thats not how it works, but then defends the right to make money in the next sentence.
Also interesting that she posted a picture of Ashley listing her coach as Sjef Janssen, as if thats the reason she’s riding this horse so ‘poorly’, and then puts all these posts up about Charlotte Jorst, always in a great light - but Charlotte’s horses all seem to come from Andreas Helgstand, and doesn’t he basically have the same rollkur rep as Sjef Janssen? Or worse?
Wow… so glad I found this thread. One of the riders mentioned she bashed is a really nice rider and lady.
Always love to learn what crazy to look out for :o
Pretty much guaranteed all the riders she bashes are nice riders and nice people. Their only “mistake” was not putting up with crap from SW, so they find themselves a target of her online bullying.
I believe that pretty much in this world if one deserves to win, they win. The riders that SW bullies will win or they wont, but what SW prints about them will not influence the judges. SW has no credibility and it shows up in her lack of winning for one thing and her dishonest practices for another. These riders should count themselves worthy for people like SW are “surprised that you do not run with them in the same debauchery and so speak abusively of you”. (Yes, this is wisdom from the Bible, 1 Pet. 4:4.)
she can’t win at shows, since she doesn’t show!
Have you talked to those who she has stolen from? It is very upsetting to them, so I would probably take it more seriously.
I find it REALLY annoying when someone posts a screenshot of a less-than-ideal moment and then incites everyone to jump on the “ZOMGZ ABUSE!!! THE RIDER SHOULD BE DRAGGED OFF THE HORSE AND TORTURED TO DEATH!!!” bandwagon. Especially in cases like the Ashley Holzer picture, where the image in question was clearly a still from a video, and yet no video clip is provided to give any context (which would most likely reveal it to be nothing more nefarious than a poorly balanced transition).
Also, sort of an aside, I find the Internet animal warriors to be a bit creepy in the way they seem to revel in the idea of causing severe physical harm to any human (also an animal, no?) that they perceive to have wronged an animal in any way, even when very few details are known.
There were literally comments saying “drag the rider off and shoot her” shoot the rider/trainer/beat up the rider. Like these people are flocking crazy.
Yeah, SW is promoting this kind of behavior, it’s very scary as far as a lot of us know people IRL, it can easily cross into something more.
SW seems to thrive on this kind of feedback
You seem to thrive on keeping this kind of feedback going here.
A forum…Aware/beware of …?
Why are you always so vague and ambiguous?
You never did clear up why you answered a question I posed to SW’s alter?
(Page 23 posts #448 and #449 for those who want to re-read.)
Agreed…man if somebody had taken a photo at the moment my guy decided to tuck his head to his chest and run away bucking yesterday, I’d be crucified by these online warriers! Yes I sat BACK and hauled…it was that or I was a human cannoball!!!
It generates clicks and views, which seems to be the only metric by which she measures success. The term is “click bait” and no one in the social media industry who uses it is taken seriously.
![](t makes sense if she is getting the PETA types as audience. They often don’t know enough about animals to evaluate anything. There is no other constituency for her really.
She is not offering enough content to draw the informed biomechanics or classical crowd, as she has no foundation for what she posts and the biomechanical critique would look at the whole ride not a bad moment video still. They’d want to see stills of typical moments not misbehavior.
And of course she’s lost the mainstream dressage fan base that she wanted to build on.
It’s just really funny that someone who went by the handle Ankywannabe for a while is now making a big deal out of dissing Rolkur to animal rights types.
I expect she can keep going forever as a troll but she won’t get any traction in any horse community so I think she can be safely ignored.

I think this goes beyond the internet for her, don’t forget she is/was at larger shows in canada and wellington.
I don’t think it’s the PETA audience, I think it’s dressage people who hate RK, we would all say the same thing WITH OUT KNOWING
A. context of the photo and
B. Vendetta of SW to drive to a certain goal and
C. editing of comments as she choses.
She already got traction as far as she harasses real people. this is why it’s scary to me. she isn’t just a troll, she does know how to steal/keep content, and edit things.
I don’t think it’s dressage people who hate rollkur. I think it’s “dressage people” who hate “competitive dressage”.
Knowledgeable horse people do not believe that riders are rubbing marshmallow fluff on their horses’ mouths to cover blue tongues, but people who learn all their “dressage” from the self-proclaimed classical internet trainers and books they don’t understand because they have zero practical experience might believe this.
As I said, not a knowledgeable classical or biomechanical audience because she has no content.
