@Moderator 1 Something to add to the new glitch development list - I have been quoted several times today and I have specifically keeping an eye on my notifications at the top of the page and none of these quotes have lead to a notification.

Yep, just came here to post this, too. Notifications aren’t coming through at all–not showing as new, and when I filter to include both new and old on the notifications page, there’s nothing there. Appears they’re not being generated.

Same, no notifications whatsoever. And I can’t use the emojis (hold the applause : ).

But other than that everything is working so much better now!

Chrome on mobile–no problem. Chrome on computer–nothing. Weird!! :eek: :eek:

I am chrome on my computer and I see them just fine.

Smilies aren’t working for me on mobile nor desktop

A clarification to the notifications not working thing - I have gotten notifications for one thread that I have subscribed to. (I do not know if there are other threads that I have subscribed to that have posts or not, I am assuming no.)

Problem is the same today on my desktop.
Using Google Chrome.

But, as you can see above, mobile is working…
Sort of…
Whatever my Android phone uses, if emoji icon is clicked a mixed bag appears.
Some emojis appear as usual, some still appear as “code?”
For example I see the Smile emoji, but LOL appears as Lol:lol:
If I select LOL, I get

:lol:ETA: got a blank

And, now I’m seeing all question marks for emojis… Let’s give them this week to do what they’re doing and then we’ll see where we are.

There is actually some further discussion going on about moving to a new platform now instead of continuing to hobble along with vBulletin. I’ll keep you guys posted. If anyone has any forums software platform that they use and love on another site, please feel free to share, and I can pass on the input to the powers that be.

This afternoon, on Safari, maybe a bit less stable, kicked out/blank pages twice, unapproved on first editing.

Otherwise, it is zipping fast and being good to change pages and threads, no more surprises there.

But I can see both of your : lol : emojis above, on chrome on Android. How weird that’s it’s so inconsistent.

I know nothing about other than the original developers of vBulletin left to form XenForo after disagreements with the new owners of vBulletin so I would think it would be easier mesh between the two since they knew the code for vBulletin

Bless your heart (and those of the developers) for continuing to work on the issues and also consider switching platforms. Not always an easy thing to do (or, maybe in different words, both options kinda suck :yes: ).

Emojis are working for me now… both in inserting them, seeing them at the bottom, and hopefully after I click Post Reply :o
