RHHT Livestreaming information

Hi everyone!

Red Hills will FINALLY have a Livestream this year! I am really excited for a lot of you that haven’t had the opportunity to see our beautiful grounds and courses to get to watch! The stream will be hosted through Visit Tallahassee’s YouTube channel, and as I understand it, there will be no paywall at all.

It would be super helpful to show the Tourist Development folks how much interest there is in providing this type of content, so if you guys could go over and subscribe and click the notifications button to the channel, you’ll know when the livestreaming starts and you won’t miss anything! And I’ve been singing the song of how important live streaming is today, and I’d like to show the impact the eventing community can have in supporting this type of content!!

Hi Guys! This is a bump of the topic to see if we can get some additional viewers to subscribe to the YouTube channel for Visit Tallahassee. We’ve worked really hard to convince everyone that the livestream REALLY matters to eventers everywhere, and if we can get to 1000 subscribers to the YT channel it will really show that the market is there, and they will carry the livestream on their channel - making it easier for everyone to find the content.

It has been pretty important to us to keep it with no paywall, so if anyone else will watch the livestream, can you go ahead and click the subscribe button on their channel? We are pretty close at 930 subscribers!!

I will ask our communications person when the info is going on the website. It may have to do with our goal to get Visit Tallahassee to 1000 subs as to where it will be livestreamed. But, regardless I think we need to have the fact that the livestream is coming on the website! Good catch! Thank you!!

And since I posted this last night, there are 16 more subs, so I hope we can get to 1000!

So glad there is a stream! Red Hills is one of my favorites. A couple of the horses I’ve groomed are making a step up, but I couldn’t make it there this year. Glad I can see it in real time instead of stressing until scores go up!

They ended the livestream after saying in chat they were having technical difficulties. Really hoping it is back up and running for the 5* riders and the rest of the weekend. Huge thanks to everyone working on the livestream and for the YouTube channel for hosting! Can’t wait to see it once we are past the difficulties
