sreichelt, Sweetie, you’re a minor that just posted your full name, zip code and phone number on the internet. Maybe you should edit your post and just have people PM you for that info? Safety first…
UlysMom, I think I’ll be okay. I know how to handle myself if someone I don’t want to contact me contacts me. Thank you though

I am right outside of worcester massachusettes and am looking for someone (within a half hour approximately of worcester) who is looking for someone to exercise thier horse from time to time, as I have been horseless for a while, and reallly miss it. I also have a 4 year old neice who is absolutely CRAZY about horses and would love to be able to even be walked around on a VERY safe horse. I have been out of horses and riding for some time (years) now, and so because of that would call myself an advanced beginner, although one of my first horses as a teen was a very green broke 3 yr old purebred Saddlebred who was full of spirit, but I must say, all in all, was under saddle very good and sensible at the same time. (he was a GREAT horse to say the least, was and will always be very special to me and I miss him very much!) I ussually rode him hunt seat and was VERY interested in natural horsemanship, and was very absorbed in Sally Swift’s book “Centered Riding” (I would work on and practice many of the exercises in her book, and was also very interested and had a great love for dressage, although sadly I had to sell and find a new home for my horse when I was 25. I do love to groom as well, and have no problem mucking a stall and/or cleaning tack. If you are interested and would like to talk my cell is 774-287-1966 Thankyou and God bless you!

Horseless rider - Baltimore area - intermediate rider

Responsible and conscientious adult rider seeks appropriate and inexpensive riding opportunities. Have mainly ridden in the ring lately, but would dearly love to get outside / on the trails more often with the right (quiet!) mount. Have had to relinquish my current half lease due to budget constraints / the cost of keeping my retiree cared for properly. Mainly ride a little dressage, have jumped in the past up to 2’, trails, etc.

I will leave your tack clean, your aisle swept, horse care done as you request. Have half-leased on and off for years, so I know the drill and can give references.

Riderless horse(s) in Aubrey, Texas (near Dallas, Denton)

I shattered my tib and fib a few weeks ago and have a temporary rider in place but would love to find someone long-term who’d like to pick up a few rides! Please PM if you you’re in the area.

Horseless experienced H/J rider - Denver metro area

Responsible adult with corporate job seeking H/J riding opportunities. N/NW of the Denver area (Boulder county and environs) preferred but can go a little farther on weekends.

As a junior and young adult, I was successful on the AA show level in hunters (up to 4’) and did all the big eqs. I did a lot of catch riding as a working student during college. Took many years off for grad school and to begin my corp. career in a big city. I can’t afford my own horse now but hope to have my own project one day. In the meantime, I’m looking for some saddle time.

I have experience with everything from the very green to eq horses with all the buttons. I have been working with one baby green OTTB recently during evenings and weekends, and while I adore this horse, I am looking for some more to do.

I have experience working as an A show groom and will take good care of your horse and your stuff! I also still have a lot of my own tack and am happy to work with some horses while everyone else in the barn is off at a show.

Please PM me.

Next several shows in Culpeper/pppNova/Raleigh/barracks/SC/PA etc cc…

I would like DD to pick up at least one more show before WIHS. We can pay for her to show, we just need to go with the right group of folks so that it is fun and successful for her in the children’s hunters/3’ medals. I am sick on and off and so would love to go with a barn who has it together and doses well, especially as DD also has it together and can jump right into the swing of things.

After that show or possibly two, she may be reduced to holding/grooming/hot walking/etc. But I want her to be working for what she wants. Her duties for the WIHS should not impact much during her day.

Good kid working 3’3" at home. Showing jumpers at 2,11" at home and hunter classes around 2’9".

Horseless in Redmond, Washington

Hello! I posted awhile back about being horseless in Ohio, but now I’ve relocated to Washington. I’m coming off a bad working student situation and after a few weeks of not being around horses, I really miss them. I’m probably more of an advanced beginner at this point, but I did exercise polo horses for a year before I began dressage and eventing.

So I’m looking for a horse or two to ride a few times a week while I’m between trainers and my life is in a state of flux just so I don’t end up taking another long break from riding.

Please PM me if you think I can help you!

Horseless Rider Passaic/Bergen County NJ

So I know I have posted before, but I have been seriously missing riding lately. Definitely a huge hole in my life at the moment. I have been riding for the last 13 years, mainly hunter/jumper horses. I have worked with everything from untouched babies to grand prix horses. I would love to be able to ride, even just once a week, usually a week day. Hoping theres a riderless horse in the area!

Riderless Horse in Haymarket, VA - horse needs light work several times a week. I have a ring, but no lights. Please pm for details.

Refresh - Re horseless rider in Austin, I am not really close to Austin but have plenty of horses that need riding. We are east of Waco, 2 hours from Austin. Check out our Facebook page, Trinity Creek Farm and you can PM us there if you are interested. We do primarily dressage and eventing.

My 16yo, 16.1hh OTTB gelding would love to teach someone the ropes of dressage or eventing! He is trained and competed through Third Level and Prelim; now limited to Novice level eventing but still capable of Second/Third Level when in shape. Has been leased to a Novice rider for the past few months who just finished second on him BN at Poplar Place’s schooling show. Not for a beginner, and not a packer, but good schoolmaster for intermediate rider or better. Located in Watkinsville, GA just south of Athens.

Horseless Rider in Bothell, WA!

I am reposting mine, as it was back in August.

I am a horseless rider in Bothell, Washington.

I am 14 years old, and very petite. I can ride 11-17 hand equines, and have experience riding English and Western. I have been a pony jock for years, and love the little ones!

I can walk, trot, and canter confidently, have started jumping, and know some dressage. I have also worked with young and green or naughty horses. Please send me a message if you have a horse needing some attention! Thanks

Horseless rider! in Santee, CA

I have been riding since I was 3 years old, but would like to get in a bit more time riding during the week, I am a intermediate level h/j rider who also does 3 day eventing. I can ride western as well at an adv level. Not picky about the size of the horse though ponies might not like me. I am pretty small I’m only 125 pounds but I have a bit of muscle bulk. Im only 5’4 so any size horse will be fine by me! spunky greenies are good by me too!

AUBURN, ALABAMA - have horses, need riders!!!

Trimac Farm in Auburn has horses needing exercise/grooming/loving at all times! My three live there and it is a great fun place to hang out. It’s a hunter jumper barn with green to advanced horses, mostly TBs. There is always something fun to ride for any skill level.

Baldwin, MI horses need riders

This is probably a long shot since we are in the boonies. Anyone experienced riders near Baldwin, MI looking for horses to ride?

I have a 3 year old Friesian mare that needs more riding time than I can commit to right now. She just returned a few weeks ago from spending 60 days at the trainer being started under saddle. Is still quite green; needs an experienced, confident, quiet rider. Has some buddy sour issues when leaving her buddies behind. Was broken out western, but I have ridden her English as well so either is fine depending on your preference. Flat work only, no jumping. Don’t have a formal arena, but we have a fenced pasture you can ride in as well as a round pen; or if you feel up to it, lots of trails around us. Just needs more time and consistent riding that I can devote right now.

Also have an 11 year old palomino Morgan/Qtr mare, well broke, previous show experience with previous owner (western, halter, color classes; dressage, saddleseat , hunt, western, trail). Needs to get back in shape as she had a foal by her side up until the end of August. Easy and fun to ride; although a little lazy.

PM me if you are in the area and want to ride!

Riderless Horse in San Antonio, TX

5 y.o. Hano/DWB gelding needs leg up/fitness/suppling/dressage work in San Antonio. Was off all summer due to my injury/surgery, and now that I’ve gotten a new job, I’m just not able to get out to ride him as much as I’d like, especially with daylight savings coming to an end.

Looking for experienced rider to improve fitness via w/t/c, trot poles, cavalletti, lateral work. With the right rider, some jumping possible.

Horse has done schooling dressage, h/j, and eventing shows, and will hopefully make his recognized HT debut in the spring.

The place he is boarded does not have lights, so need someone who can ride in the daytime. Jumps and poles are available; arena is large dressage arena with 10-12 ft. lanes all around, fully fenced. A front field is available for hacking.

Feel free to PM me with questions or for more info.

Riderless Horse Available for Free Lease in Atlanta-ish, GA

Available for free lease: Adorable (no, really) 9yo 14.2-14.3 (no official measurement) Morgan gelding with great potential for dressage, jumpers, eventing, or driving.

Natural athlete and lovely mover with great, jump and willing attitude, but a bit green over fences. Fancy enough for some lower level hunters, especially if someone wanted to put time into getting a pony card. Would be great for someone looking for a dressage partner - definite potential for 2nd Level+. Goes in a flexible snaffle for everything. Loves trail riding; very brave. Broken to harness, but has not driven in a few years. Ground drives and has pulled a road cart.

Loves junior riders (but loves grown-ups, too!) but needs the experience of an older junior; while he has gone well for beginners, he is likely not appropriate for anyone under 10. He has been used in IEA and some lessons and does very well with a kind and knowledgeable rider. Would be a great project for an experienced adult looking for a smaller package; wide backed and broad barreled, he takes up leg very well. Extremely easy keeper, four good feet, clips/loads/ties/bathes/trailers. Tons of personality – like a puppy dog. Would love to have his own girl to love on him. Super fun to ride and be around; needs a job as his owner currently lives out of state.

Horseless Rider Searching for Free Lease or On Site 1/2 Lease- SE PA

Experienced 26yo adult ammy looking for a horse capable of 3’ hunters/eq. Have been a catch rider for many local trainers and recently sold my investment prospect, who I brought from green broke to baby greens. Quiet, knowlegable rider will provide excellent care and keep your horse in good shape without overworking. Have spent many years assiting pros with green and sale horses, looking to get some more consistent show mileage at 3’ on a capable horse. Would not campaign every weekend or over jump. Can be a horse that needs a confident or more technical ride, or needs brought back into shape. Did HITS, Devon, A’s, local shows as a junior and can provide professional references as well as video of me riding. Could be a free full lease or on site 1/2 lease if in Chester County, PA.

Please PM me here or email me at carlsonkate.e@gmail.com

Thank you so much,

Kate

Horseless Rider in NC

Looking for a jumper/eventer in the North Carolina area for an experienced rider. I have been riding for about 10 years, and have been a working student for many of those. I recently moved here, and, now that I have found a good barn, am hoping to find a good prospect or project horse.

Sweet Briar, VA

I am a Sweet Briar College sophomore (age 19) looking for a horse friend. I have been riding for over 10 years and have a solid foundation in huntseat riding. If your horse needs more exercise, I would love to W/T/C them for you as much as you’d like. You don’t need to pay me unless I am traveling more than 30 minutes from campus - I wouldn’t object to a little reimbursement for gas. I would like to keep travel time under two hours both ways (Think Charlottesville). I am just a bored part-time student who needs some extra horse therapy and a reason to get out of bed on my days off. If you are interested PM me, I could even get my Sweet Briar riding instructor to tell you about my riding if you’d like.
