I am in Seattle, looking for a horse to ride once or twice a week. I live downtown and don’t have a car at the moment, so I am looking for an available horse within walking distance to a bus stop (maybe Redmond, Bellevue, Mercer Island or Bainbridge Island).

I have not ridden in a little over a year, so my muscles have depleted a little- but I have about 10-12 years of experience in hunter/jumper, dressage, polo, and eventing. Right now, I’m mainly just looking for a horse to hang out with that may need some exercising, even if it’s light. I can even do some minor barn work for you.

I’m looking to lease (or half lease) a horse in NOVA, DC, or PG County. I take lessons at a barn in the District and I’d LOOOOOVE to lease one of the boarders’ horses, but given that there are only a dozen of them, I’m not holding my breath. So I’m expanding my horizons.

About me:
I am an advanced beginner adult re-rider looking for a partial lease on a safe reliable horse. I would like to ride 2-3 days/week, preferably with the option to take lessons on-site. I rode dressage as a kid and I have been back in lessons for the past three months (2x week). I can safely walk/trot, and I’m quickly picking my canter back up. I’d like to start jumping in the fall.

I’d greatly appreciate any leads for horses in the area!

Riderless horse, London ON

I’m pregnant and the rider I had lined up to keep the big guy in work has fallen through. Winston is bored and had a custom made saddle arrive just in time for me to call time on my riding so would love someone to get him going again and keep him busy. He’s too nice not to be ridden and misses having a person to love on him.
Located 15 minutes from London, Ontario at a beautiful facility with great indoor and outdoor rings, excellent XC course and tons of hacking.

I am an advanced amateur currently taking lessons with a top Hunter Jumper Barn in South OC. I am looking for a few horses to help hack to gain some extra hours in the saddle in addition to my current lessons. I rode as a Junior in the top “A” rated shows for many years up to the Junior Hunters and medals and then took a break while in college and having kids. I’ve been back riding now consistently for over a year.

I run a small rescue based in Afton, Virginia and we are always looking for riders (intermediate or better) to come out and ride our horses. Wanted to update my post as I’ve moved. I’m now in the NW Philly area, around Bala Cynwyd/Manayunk.

20+ years of riding, most experience with straight of the track OTTBs and Low Adult jumpers as well as years of experience in the hunter ring. Am 5’4"/112 lbs so fit most ponies, as well. Have photos, videos, and trainer references.

I just moved to Houston, Texas (medical center area) from the Netherlands, and am looking for a horse to take care of. I have been riding regularly since I was 8 years old. First ‘regular English dressage’, and lately I have been taking western lessons. I have had lease horses since I was 11 years old, and have never stopped taking lessons. I am experienced with young horses, nervous horses, riding out etc. I always like to learn more, so I would preferably be looking to go on trails and learn more western elements here in Texas (but open to anything)! I am planning to stay in Houston for 4 years, so plenty of time to take care of your horse(s).
I am working regular working days/hours, so I would mainly be able to come in the evenings and weekends.

I have just moved to Gainesville, FL, and have sadly had to leave my horses at home (in Australia). I was wondering if there was anyone in the area (near UF) that needed their horses / ponies exercised ? I have over 10 years of riding experience, and am petite (5’2) so am able to ride both ponies and horses. I competed in english show classes back in Australia. I am on a 3 year contract at UF, and so will be staying in the area for the next few years. Thanks
