Ridiculous horse names

I thought it would be fun to post the weirdest or craziest names you have heard… or just plain funny. (either show or barn names)

Mine would have to be…

Little Chit
Mr. Potato Head
His Horse (GP jumper LOL)
My Mercedes
Buckit Off
Macaroni Pony
Golden Ass (it was GP jumper… LOL the announcer always said Ace instead of Ass)
Gomer Pyle. The girl always laughed at Gomer’s Piles… on the barnyard floor. Stupid I know.

I’ve known a Prawn, a Worm, a Gloria and a Nancy. :stuck_out_tongue:

My two favorites are:

Clear Round First Then Party
and
The Chicks Dig Me

An AQHA named Virtual Chicken. Beautiful horse though lol

my wife knows everything
and
the wife doesn’t know

Wiggly Tail (TB)

Doc’s Dik Dik (humungo QH stallion) - a dik dik is a teeny teeny African antelope

Mindy’s Cherry (bred by someone named Mindy W_________). Okay, a “cherry” car can be a restored or really nice, well maintained older car, but…

Lotta Speed (7/8th TB Appendix QH - bred to sprint, she couldn’t get up a good gallop until she’d gone almost a mile)

Weird but I liked it: Thunderblazer (a son of Mindy’s Cherry- LOL). At 16.3 and 1,400 lbs., a bay roan Appy with near leopard spotting and a full blaze - I dunno, it just fit him.

An odd but cute name: Penelopony (a very cute Welsh pony)

a farm in TX named itself “Windswept Farm” and gave the horse they bred names beginning with the farm name - thus Windswept Anna

now windswept sounds lovely until you consider what it means in horse lingo which makes it a very unfortunate name

A few spot Appaloosa named Dance Your Spots Off.

A mare named Meadow Muffin

I do movie titles for my horses and just named one “The Brave Little Toaster.” Barn name is Toast. Totally fits him.

My OTTB’s jockey club name was Hay Kevin!
His daddy was Haymaker but who the heck was Kevin???
(Momma was Noble and Good.)

My Half-Arabian gelding’s dam was Princess Buttercup.

Please tell me the sire’s name was Westley. LOL

I must be stupid, because I don’t get it. What does windswept mean in “horse lingo”?

I know someone that had a horse that’s original name was Hungry Mother Fox. Ugh. Really?

It’s when they are born with legs that point to the side. Don’t worry, I had to go look it up.

It’s a limb deformity in foals where the legs are bent sideways, making them look like they are being blown over.

Gotcha.

That is rather unfortunate.

My solid dark bay TB mare named Mismatched Socks.
Other TB’s
Boyfriendontheside
Feelsgoodonmylips
Bank of Dad
Toes on the Curb
