Art Deco, one of the most famous pinto warmbloods, cross the rainbow bridge today. He was 30 years old. I’m so sorry for Liz. He was a very special guy.
So very sorry for your loss Liz.

Heartfelt condolences to Liz.
I hope you can find solace in knowing that he had a grand life, was dearly loved and cared for, and has left a lasting legacy.
The Rainbow Bridge is a lot brighter and more colourful today.
Condolences - I knew Art in his showing days. What a neat guy. He will be missed.
I am so sorry Liz You gave him a good life and he will be greatly missed. RIP Art Deco
What a fabulous guy. My Art Deco story:
Years ago Jim Kofford was starting a test on Art Deco in the indoor at Raleigh. Right after his first turn, some kids made an enormous racket and AD jumped into himself for one stride and went right back to work. Throughout the test, you could see his front leg get bloodier and bloodier. The horse never faultered. Just continue to do his job.
What a gift he has been to so many who have enjoyed his offspring.
Rest in peace, beautiful boy.
My deepest condolences.
Nancy
He was such a neat and special stallion! I have seen so many of his offspring and many were extremely nice and also talented. We have a grandson and a great grandson on our farm now, as a matter of fact. He made a great contribution to the sporthorse world. I am so sorry for his loss and send sincerest condolences to Liz and all of Art Deco’s friends and admirers.
Amazingly, there are 159 offspring by him recorded on www.allbreedpedigree.com and you know that’s only a drop in the bucket. I wonder if Liz knows a figure of how many he sired during his lifetime. Truly great horse!
So sorry for Liz and the Art Deco family. I visited them when I started to breed Pinto Warmbloods for the Hunter/eventing world. Liz was so helpful. My first purchase was a lovely mare by Art Deco, Queens Colors!
He was a wonderful horse and very special to Liz. I can only imagine her sadness!
Liz and Deco blazed the path for the rest of us…
All his grand kids and great grand kids send their condolances from Flying Colors!
So, so sad He was the start of my “colored horse” fascination and boy did he start a fire for me. So so sad for Liz and all his hugely extended family
So sad to learn the news.
I’m so sorry for your loss, Liz.
Condolences to Silverwood Farm and all those he touched
