Update on my guy.
I was at a show for 3 weeks and didn’t see him! He is already over 14 hands! Wow, they grow up sooooo fast. He is about 5 months and his next big thing will be his October inspection.
He is at my friends farm 2 hours north of me and she has like 20 dogs on her property. Big ones too! I was walking him down the hill for his night turnout and they all come running at me! He could care less! The great dane was almost as big as him and was walking right along with us! Amazing. If that doesn’t say something about temperament, I don’t know what does!
I was just looking up information on IJF and IHF which Roc USA is nominated for to see what fees I have to send in for next year.
I noticed that so far for this year, Roc USA is 6th in the USEF hunter breeding standings and he is 7th in the International Jumper Standings!
I think that it is great that he has both hunters and jumpers doing quite well.
He has had a few hunters showing in pre-greens at Wellington and some others I think in Atlanta getting champions in Pre-greens!
I am very excited for Nancy. Congrats on having such a well rounded stallion!
I love what Roc is putting on the ground. And isn’t it great that they are so diversified!
Congrats to the entire Roc USA team!
I think the Roc USA babies are beautiful.
Update on the results from the 4 yr old Jumper futurity at Traders Point Horse show in Indiana…There were 5 Roc babies that competed this year there and they were all great! Risque won movement and type and Roc’s Anne was reserve, Roc’s Anne won overall consistency and Risque was reserve, and Risque was reserve in Grand Prix Potential…Also Rendezvous 22 won the 5 yr old jumper championship class there! I will get pictures up as soon as I get them…
Congrats thats great!
I will be coming to Kentucky this year for the IHF again. Will you have a lots of Roc’s there? I would love to come watch them show if I get time. I will be there Monday thru Thursday afternoon.
I will bring some pictures of Ace for Nancy.
I remember Roc’s Anne, isn’t that Rechromes sister? How is Rechrome? He is the whole reason I bred to Roc! (loved him at the IHF when he was 4)
Isn’t he drool worthy?? His owner rides him & plays around–you know, the typical perfect first child scenario happening there. His sisters are very nice, but RJ is king.
OK here is my baby at 3 months-we are calling him Mark! He is just such a pet!
Heres an updated picture of Ace. He is now 6.5 months old! Can you believe it! He goes to his inspection in a few weeks.
Got to figure out how to tame that mane:D

Really lovely boy…
Cant wait for 2010 to breed to ROC - still need to get my girl in foal to More Than Luck next year…
ROC is putting some lovely foals on the ground.
We had our Oldenburg Inspection today and I have to brag.
My Roc filly Rinka was the High Score Mare with a 106. It was a great inspection lots of quality horses presented. There were foals presented by about 12 different stallions, with 7 by Roc and 1 Roc grandson. Even if you weren’t paying attention you couldn’t miss the Roc’s. They were the ones playing up to the crowd. Jumping the triangle and stealing the flowers. A Roc daughter was the reserve champion filly, she is Rossi Bianci owned by Jacquie Lipberger from Green Bay, what a nice filly.
Rinka was wonderful. It was cold and rainy but she was a perfect lady.I am so proud of her. I was to busy watching to take any pictures but hopefully I’ll get some new ones soon.
Congrats!
I would love to see pictures!
Ace goes to his inspection October 5th. It is getting close! He will be the oldest foal there by far!
I am starting to see a little grey roaning on his flanks. Not sure where that came from, but its cute!
Darn guy keeps overreaching and clipping his heels off :(Everytime I go see him, he has little scabbies above his hoofs. I am going to have to find him little pony bell boots;)
I just love him. He has the best personality. It is so much fun having a baby. Everytime I talk to someone I always say, ya well my baby and they always think I am talking about a human baby! That doesn’t even enter into my mind:lol:

There will be at least one 2 year old, two 3 year olds, two 4yr olds, in the IHF finals and two 5 yr olds in the YJC finals in ky this year! (I may have missed some also, there are too many to count now:) Can’t wait…it should be a great year for the Roc babies!
We were posting at the same time! I will definantly come say hi!
I hope I can bring Ace to Kentucky, maybe when he is 2. It seems like a long trip for a yearling.
jumperrider, how are your 2 foals doing?
Do you have any updated pictures? Last time I heard, one of the little guys had been stepped on? Is he ok?
Hope all is well. When do the young jumpers go in Kentucky? We fly in Tuesday morning and then leave Thursday night, so I only have a short window to watch!
We have a lot of good stuff for the IHF auction so come and see us!
Sam, They are both doing great, at the inspection the embryo transfer foal was premium and scored 8.1, he was the one that got stepped on but is fully recovered now…Also Rendezvous (our 5 yr old jumper) went into the premium marebook, and we did an embryo transfer with her to Irco Mena, and Rendezvous’s sister of this year scored an 8.4 at the inspection, one of the highest scored foals of this year so far! The 5 year olds go thurs, fri, and sat i think…Ace looks great, can’t wait to see him sometime soon, I will get new pics of the babies up after ky, it’s been a long season haha…
Jumprrider20–congrats on the GP win!
And good luck to all you guys in KY. I can’t wait to hear how it goes this week!
I understand that Roc’s kids are shaking things up in Kentucky. Lots of GREAT placings and really getting noticed. Can anyone share a more detailed update? Congrats to Nancy and Roc.
I remember 3 Rocs in the 4 year old class.
Roc’s Anne hated her tail braided, so she was a little pissy which is not like her at all. She jumped around, but it could have been better.
The other two were good and just made little mistakes here and there. The dark bay mare was a great jumper and I think did well in the undersaddle. She just got a little close out of the lines on a couple.
A Roc also got second in the 2 year old undersaddle.
Retro Girl was Reserve Champion in the 3 year old performance. She won a class over fences and was 4th in the hack out of more then 13!
They all did very well and it was exciting to watch!
I am so excited to start showing my little guy next year!
Nancy was high point breeder so congrats Nancy!
